Q: What would a Cyberpunk campaign be without drugs?
A: Too much to hope for
-Hardwired Supplement

The drugs on this page were created with Ocelot's variant creation rules. It's a great resource. It should be out there on the Net somewhere. Descriptions are given but refer to it if you have any other questions about the traits of these drugs.

Remember, winners don't use drugs, they just get shot/sliced/burned/hit by people who do use drugs.

Description: "Some people take drugs to give them that extra something, that special "edge" that makes them that much better." This very descriptive phrase comes to us from Gary Astleford(Ocelot) and is what Razor is all about. It's a combat drug, but instead of turning the user into a frenzied killing machine by upping the REF and lowering COOL and EMP to dangerously low levels, Razor raises COOL as well as REF plus increases visual acuity and endurance. It was originally designed by an Asian crime sindicate to give to their muscle. It worked wonderfully in the field. The users did their jobs with complete unwavering confidence and actually enjoyed it all. But when their soldiers came back they were still violently agressive and thought they should be the ones running the show. After they were all killed the project was discontiniued since the only way to limit the agressiveness and megalomania was to take Razor with other drugs that cut its effectiveness. But that didn't stop them from marketing it to other people and organizations (sometimes even their enemies). It is rarely seen on the streets as the people with the formula and capability to synthesize it want to keep it a secret (and off the Type A Illegal list). Due to the difficulty in making this drug, only the more powerful organizations and individuals will have access to it.

BABYLON
TYPE: Hypnotic/Euphoric/Aphrodesiac
BENEFITS(depends on your perspective):
    Hypnotic: 15
    Aphordesiac: 10
    Euphoric: 5
SIDE EFFECTS:
    Loss of Inhibition: -4
    Sleepy: -4
    Tremors: -2
DIFFICULTY: 20
DURATION: 1d6 x 10 minutes (medium)
STRENGTH: 5
FORM: Liquid
FINAL DIFFICULTY: 38
ILLEGALITY: Type B
COST: 290
Description: This is a new form of "truth serum." Babylon ("Babble On") is non addictive and puts the user (read as: target) in a highly suggestive state with a feeling of relaxed euphoria. When questioned by a person with Interrogation, the target often winds up spilling his guts in short order. But it was found that the drug seemed to lower inhibitions and had considerable aphrodesaic properties. So in common usage it is administered in a drink to the target by a member of the appropriate gender and a recording device is started. Unfortunately, when the target passes out then wakes up with violent tremors, he or she will have a good idea as to what happened that night and perhaps why they're wearing their underwear on their heads.
