![]() | For the most part of the Memorial, the information is stressed from the manga. This part will be from the anime, which differs more as the story progresses. I have linked the episode titles to actual episode summaries elsewhere on the web. Below are just my comments on some of the ChibiUsa-relevant episodes, plus a summary of the origins and main goals of the baddies (which I personally think is interesting). This will be the most incomplete section of the Archive since I got tired quickly of rewatching the episodes (^_^;; no, I'm not a heretic). I'll add more comments every now and then when I get the chance to stay seated and watch. Meanwhile, the tidbits of the seasons should suffice. |
The villains are the Black Moon family, headed by Wiseman/Death Phantom. Demando is at the head of the family, under Wiseman. His brother is the technical genius, Safiiru. Under him is the pompous Esmeraude, who has her sights on Demando. Rubeus is below her and he controls the Ayakashi Sisters (Cooan, Beruche, Petz, Karaberas). Their mission is to take possession of the ginzuishou so that there is no unmatchable power left for their own Black Crystal. They tried taking it in the future where they are from, but failed and so start in the past. They know that where ever Chibi-Usa is, the crystal should not be that far away. In reality, Wiseman is only using the Black Moon family members for his own power. Results: |
The new baddies are Pharoah 90, Mistress 9, and the Death Busters. Pharoah 90 and Mistress 9 want the holy chalice and the 3 talismans that will produce the chalice. They will also have to have the one person who can use the chalice on their side; otherwise, it would be useless. They are invaders from the Tau star system who are looking to overtake this planet. They aren't looking for the power of the ginzuishou, just that of the chalice. The new senshi also seem to be enemies. They are also looking for the three talisman and the one who can use the chalice, the messiah. They are willing to sacrifice anything, even Hotaru's life, to prevent the awakening of the senshi of death, which the inners are definitely not willing to do. That is the reason they refuse to fight together. They know the end of the world is nearing and the true messiah is the one who will prevent it. Professor Tomoe Souichi is a mad scientist equivalent here, working under the influence of Mistress 9, the Dark Messiah, whose human vessel is his daughter Hotaru. About ten years ago, Hotaru had been killed in a lab accident and Tomoe sold both their bodies to the alien invaders. Now, why is Chibi-Usa relevant to this season? It was her pure heart crystal that Mistress 9 took in order to fully awaken inside of Hotaru. Results: |
Count on much more info for this season in a little while.
A season mainly about Chibi-Usa... Pegasus (he's not even truly a pegasus) enters her dreams and seeks refuge in their beauty. The Dead Moon Circus are after him and his Golden Crystal (located in his golden horn). Neherenia is the top baddie, with Zirconia (and his eyeball Zircon) under her, and then the Trio and the Quartet. They are to look in humans' dream mirrors for the Pegasus that may be hiding in one. And to insure that he won't hide in a mirror that's already passed inspection, they try to kill the humans they inspect. Neherenia is another one of those "Queens of Darkness", specifically Queen of the Dead Moon. She wants the Golden Crystal to preserve her youth (it will probably also give her more power). As of then, Neherenia was trapped in her mirror. If she stepped over to the other side, she would age and lose her beauty. Results: |
The beginning of this season completes the SuperS arc, with a different twist. Galaxia calls upon Neherenia and influences her to seek out the senshi once more. This time she shatters her mirror over Earth, and the glass shards turn into mirror paredory. The shards fall into people's eyes and basically turn them into zombies. In the end, the senshi all gather (Saturn grows back to normal and the outers return) at Neherenia's castle and do battle. Sailor Moon fills her with love and Neherenia begins life over again. It just turns out she had an unhappy childhood [I found this funny]. The rest of the arc does with the Starlights, Galaxia, and the sailor wars. Chibi-Usa doesn't appear anymore. :( |
New, weak invaders come from basically no where. Madame Vadiane is looking to conquering the world through the dream energy of the humans. She wants them to sleep eternally, thus drawing more power and taking control of Earth. She targets Chibi-Usa after the dream fairy Peruru is won over by the little girl. With Chibi-Usa's sweet dream energy, Vadiane nearly succeeds. But Double Moon defeat her and Peruru goes back to protecting the dreams of children. [Who knows, perhaps Peruru is a dream fairy from Elysion. ^_^] |
