Minna
Small Lady had been a very lonely little girl before she travelled to the past and made friends there. The people of Crystal Tokyo had made fun of her size and powerlessness. She only had Pu...
| Sailor Pluto was her one friend and like a second mother to Small Lady. She comforted her and promised her one day she would become great like Neo Queen Selenity. Pu taught her how to use Luna-P's powers. She also gave her the Space-Time Key. Pluto loved her as if she was her own daughter. | Also in the future of Crystal Tokyo was Diana and Luna-P. Diana was a companion of Pluto and Chibi-Usa's good friend. She was given to Chibi-Usa as a Christmas present from everyone in the future. |

Then in the past, Chibi-Usa sharpened her social skills. She attended school and made friends that way.
|
Momohara Momoko is basically her bosom buddy. They meet and become good friends on Chibi-Usa's first day at Juuban/Tenth Street District Elementary. They just love each other, as can be seen in episode 81 when Chibi-Usa is sick and Momo comes to visit her [the dialogue went something like this:
"Momo!" "Chibi-Usa!" {scream} {run to each other and cue the gossip} ^_^ made me feel so proud of her for some reason].
|
There is also an annoying little boy named Sarashina Kyusuke who later becomes friends with Chibi-Usa. Other little boys who befriend Chibi-Usa (in the anime) are Tamasaburou and Masanori. Tamasaburou worked at a Japanese tea shop and was the first of Chibi-Usa's attempts to make a friend. Masanori was a classmate of Chibi-Usa's. I think he was her first crush, although he had his sights on Michiru first (^_^;). |
Later on in the manga, it seems Momo was bumped off for Osaka Naruru (Naru's little sister) and Kobe Ruruna. The two little busy-bodies (^_^;) fight with Hotaru for Chibi-Usa and then become friends with Hotaru. |
|
Of course, Chibi-Usa could always go to the senshi if she had problems.
The inners were also very protective of her. In the anime, Rei seemed the most attached to Chibi-Usa (and both liked to annoy Usagi ^_^). Chibi-Usa liked Ami because she thought she was very smart and nice. Chibi-Usa was also close to Minako, and both of them would go around acting a bit ditzy (the Nurse-Minako episode). Makoto seemed to be the closest to Chibi-Usa in the manga. She cooked goodies for Chibi-Usa and would give her advice. |
|
Later on, Chibi-Usa's best friend would be Hotaru. They were two lonely little girl soldiers who interacted perfectly.
At an amusement park near the Tomoe Labs, Chibi-Usa lost her hat to the blowing wind and chased it until she came upon Hotaru. They met then and became fast friends. It was a first for both girls to be so close to another person other than family. At the time, Mistress 9 was being harbored in Hotaru's body. When it came time for her to awaken, she did it through stealing Chibi-Usa's heart crystal/ginzuishou. In the end, Hotaru fought against Mistress 9 and returned Chibi-Usa's crystal, vowing to protect her. After her rebirth and return, Hotaru and Chibi-Usa become even better friends.

Later on in the future, Chibi-Usa would have her own four guardian senshi- the Asteroid Senshi/Sailor Quartet.
Saturn salvaged the life forces of the Amazoness Quartet before the deaths of Zirconia and Neherenia. She asked Neo Queen Selenity to use her power to change them back into senshi. They were destined to become Small Lady's guardians in the future. Until then, they would return to their sleep in the Amazon as they had been doing before Neherenia came. Left to Right: Sailors Vesta, Juno, Pallas, and Ceres |

In time, Chibi-Usa would find her first love...
| Elios was the priest of Elysion, a world paralleled to Earth. He was the guardian of Endymion and so connected to him. He was looking for a particular maiden who could use the Golden Crystal to banish the Dead Moon baddies [in the manga the maiden has to just find the Golden Crystal]. He seeks refuge in Chibi-Usa's beautiful dreams and Chibi-Usa grows to love him. He departs after the danger is over, but there is promise of a future encounter. |
