Current situation
Communications- Commercial video phones, rich holo-phones.
Transportation- Only land vehicles, some enclosed look like two-wheeled compact cars, others look like motor cycles, some hover technology, all called "cycles".
Housing- Town house or apartment, some rich have huge complexes.
Government- This place is ruled by the biggest companies ruling their own particular sections.
Wildlife- Very little of this around, some mutated animals, in wastelands.
Trash collecting- Very little public, large dumps in some parts of town.
Music- Mainly only loud instrumental, and dark sounding metal music.
Pro sports- Gladiator fighting, death ball (like football), large mech combat.
Literature- Very little imaginative writing, only informative.
"Avar" man- Poor, protective clothes, owns a residence, ½ own vehicles, self-employed, carries knife, 1/8 carries gun, 1/8 have cyborg body parts.
Help- Someone can be hired to just about whatever they want.
Food- Rationed, created in very valuable green house type buildings.
Shops- Personal weapons, useful items, big weapons rare.
Jack up- Physical going onto "The Trail" by plugging in.
"The trail"- Basically, the internet, with some omniscient know, A.I.
Industry- Most vehicles are different because very few big assembly lines lots of large abandoned buildings.
Banks- Mostly stay off the Jack up for security, rare, most have to keep their own money somewhere.
Protosail- Ships, can be hired to sail into wastelands, hover, sail
Education- Self-educated only, rarely public ed.
"The great X"- This is the largest garbage dump in any town, many scavengers go here for new parts.
Cyber monk- These men do what they please, gang high-tech, do what they think is good.
Tech druid- Saving technology long past, very secretive, steal some new technology they say people don’t deserve.
Sewer system- Very old, all waste goes to a plant and is processed, except in some areas where it is stored below.
Streets- Lots of ally ways, dirty streets, crowded w/ junk, usually few people are on the streets.
"Death caravans"- Groups of people who try to travel through wastelands.
Crowded- Very crowded buildings on outside, roomy housing.
Scavengers- Almost everyone, does this, hope to get jack pot, good way to get new things to help.
Cleanliness- Low cleaning conditions, a hot bath is a rare thing.
Organic tech- There is some, big companies are making more, tech druids have it.
Police- Very little of this exists, mostly only enemies of the big companies will be dealt with, but usually by bounty hunters.
Gangs- Gladiators, and thugs, looking for money usually from small.
Bars- There are a lot of bars and cafes, small and huge, some very low class.
Few laws- Unless work for company may only have cycle, large weapons usually illegal, bribery is an accepted practice, and con men are common.
Hunters- Some special hunters go for live body parts, high prices.
Black market- Name for central place of most small dealers and businesses, legal and illegal, many congregate here.
Gambling- Accepted practice, many do it in their spare time.
News- One main vid channel, usually corrupted by companies, propaganda.
Cyborg- Mostly accepted, but not trusted, some hate them, intelligent A.I.
Cybands- Simple robots, that run programs, no sentient material.
Wastelands- Uninhabited areas between populated areas, very hostile.
Military- There are some radical groups joined together, terrorists mostly.
Cloud city- Floating city, low population, Good government protection, very advanced.
Space fortress- Next step up from a cloud city, in low orbit.
Atmosphere- Much lower quality, if asteroid were to come to earth, no prb.
Sun- Very much weaker, little sun radiation, brighter light (sometimes).
Writing- Energy pens or typing, some voice recognition.
SMART- Computers that can understand speech and complex commands, hooked to the main frame.
Mainframe- Large super computer, sometimes underground controls info for all computers under it.
Hotels- Very rare, not very big not very good quality.
Wired psych- Cybernetically enhanced brain for fast reactions, smarter to set program.
Drugs- These are generally legal, some types are very cheap others expensive.
Spice- Limited psionics, very expensive, addictive, overconfident
Freezen-tein- Feel stronger, mental reaction slowed, expensive, addictive.
Pattonite- Paranoid, cheap, not addictive, high, happy
Cutter- Dulls pain, depressant, expensive, not addictive
Red dust- Hallucinations, medium, addictive
Steryn- Calms, slows nervous system, medium, not addictive
Mail system- There is no mail delivery service, people can be hired to deliver.
Elec mail- This is mail to your computer, used most often.
Women- Equal to wear skimpy clothes mostly, work like everyone else.
Men- Long and comfortable clothes, work most.
Teenagers- Treated like adults, have to work hard, usually live alone by now.
Elderly- Abandoned, kicked out of housing onto streets, except some very important.
Children- Start working early, tend to stay indoors, streets too dangerous.
Recreational- Made from scavenged things, few stores for this, computers, rare holocenters and theatres.
Metal hunk- They are similar to tanks, rare, used for riot control.
Heating/cooling system- Some buildings can keep constant temperature, mostly none.
