Once upon a time, like, oh, millenia back or so, too far
to count, Sylphaerians were, if not human, at least
something closer to it than they are now. And then, they
weren't. It's a long long story, really, but the short
version is a crazy mage turned them all into living statues.
Immortality can lead to incredible boredom, because there's
really only so many times you can visit Disneyworld before
you're just sick of living. Then a few Sylpherians
discovered a way to contact humans at The Realm and beg for
amusement to keep them from going totally bonkers. In the
interests of saving this species, we suggested they surf the
web, where the possibilities for diversion are endless. The
Sylphaerians fell in love with the internet and all the
crazy happy people on it. Now they'd like to come live with
you, cyberly speaking, on your webpage. Do it for humanity!

How to do it: THE
RULES!!!
We make it as simple as possible for you to adopt a
RealmPet for your website. Just read the rules and then
download the image of your choice.
1) MAKE SURE IT'S A SAFE REALMPET HOME! RealmPets are
unhappy and uncomfortable on hate pages, pages that promote
violence, and pornography sites. It doesn't have to be a
little kiddie site, just nothing XXX or extremely
offensive.
2) DOWNLOAD THE IMAGE AND PUT IT ON YOUR OWN SERVER! Not
only will it load faster, it will keep you from being a
bandwidth thief and protect your RealmPet from disappearing
in case we change site organization.
3) DO NOT CLAIM CREDIT FOR THE ARTWORK!!! All drawings are
copyright to the artist that created them. If we catch you
saying that you created them, you're going to be in
trou-ble, got it?
4) DO NOT RE-DISTRIBUTE IMAGES!!! If other people want a
RealmPet, they can come to RealmPets and gnab one for
themselves.
5) INCLUDE A LINK BACK TO REALMPETS! This way others can get
a RealmPet for their pages. You can use a text link or link
the image itself or use a graphic
button to The Realm. The link must be directed to
http://www.trof/realmpets
6) EMAIL
THE REALM ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR REALMPET ON YOUR PAGE! We
like to visit them in their new homes.

Glitter the flower pixie just can't get enough
of learning new things. Whether it's the wonders of
fa-shun (like his designer suit in violet his best
friend Eno made for him) or queries a to why people
eat soo-shee with sticks bigger than he is, you'll
never get away from the questions from this
four-inch faerie. If you can handle a little
exhaustion from keeping up with his inquiring but
tiny mind, you'll find having a pixie around really
does bring luck.

HRH Prince Vydain, head honcho of Sylphae (sort
of scares you, doesn't it?) and fashion master, has
been known to bend his gender on more than one
occasion. Keep this guy around if you want to be
sure your site is on the cutting edge of avante
garde or if you feel an excessive need to be
criticized for your frumpiness. Suggested links to
provide him include caviar and haute cuisine
providers, funky fashion malls, and fine arts.

Ataru, Vydain's bodyguard and one of the few
Sylphaerians with a clue of reality, doesn't like
for his appetites to be known. Well, there're a lot
of things Ata doesn't like, but that's one of them.
He'll be content so long as he can explore links to
military history, arms and armor, and macho
dragonslaying techniques.
