The slow moving clap trap of a ship, Rea's Helm plodded through the cold vastness of space. It was these long stretches of boredom which were more welcome than the dangers the weaponless unit of space ships always seemed to encounter. First one, then two more ships had been lost in the great dark abyss. Now, including their semi official mother-ship, Rea's Helm, the former seheik, now the Rihannsu, the declared, traveled across the void in a total of five ships.
The comforts were limited living in this artificial environment, rationed food and water, few luxuries or frivolous belongings. The wall and floors once fresh and gleaming now bore the dull wounds of frequent patches. Pathways had been worn into the floors and stairs from hundreds of repeated foot falls from hundreds of feet for far too many years. Daily garments, once new fine and thick were now faded and thread bare. Despite the stale recycled air, the temperature remained at a comfortable level. Only in the hydroponics area of each ship was the atmosphere too moist for the former inhabitants' of the planet T'Khasi.
The exodus had extended by years and suffered many tragic losses with few positive returns, but these hearty souls would not succumb to hopelessness. That would have been their true defeat. So life continued: children were born, elders passed on, mates were sought, trades were made, power was gained by the everyday matters rather than through grand plans. Little opportunity for the arts of war. This lag in violent pursuits offered the Travelers an interim of peace: time to think, plan, talk, hone their physical skills, explore possibilities within themselves and develop their artistic inclinations as they hurled though space searching for a new home.
It was the usual busy time of the day: The clatter of eating utensils and the murmurs of amiable and not so amiable banter wafted through the common room. The three acquaintances, a man and two women, finally spied an empty table. Izh gallantly pulled out a chair for Illhei(Lady) T'Asal. Arrhae quickly slipped into the seat opposite the stately noble woman.
Izh took a seat in between the two women. He looked from one to the other as a smile broke out across his face. As they looked to him in silent inquiry concerning this sudden grin, he ran a hand through his long hair. Snow white since birth, his mother named him Izh after the snow capped mountains on the planet of his birth.
"Arrhae," he inquired eagerly to the young woman on his right. "We were
wondering about this scene you have been hinting about. T'Asal was kind
of enough to show me the first few paragraphs. I find it
most, " he paused and looked over to the gracious noble lady on his
left, "Intriguing."
The handsome male's brow quirked upwards as he glanced at T'Asal. Knowing that she had his attentions, the woman demurely flipped her long black hair over a shoulder.
Watching their flirtatious interaction, Arrhae grinned while witnessing
their intense stare. For the past few weeks, Arrhae had found herself very
drawn to these
two. When she had first met them, she had been uncertain if they would
accept her, being a servant and a novice writer. Most still kept to their
clans and stations in their personal associations, but writers and other
artisans seemed to transcend these castes.
She had grown quite fond of these two people. She was honored that they
even
talked to her at all. Her duties as hru'hfe (servant), often kept her
away from
their usual meeting times. But they were kind enough to still include
her and even seek her out. The plain diminutive hru'hfe liked them.
It seemed they liked her as well.
"Well, Rikkhae( Sir), " she chucked as she used the tittle T'Asal had endowed him with, "it starts out like this." She tugged on her tattered sleeve, then allowed herself a smirk while relating her tale.
Like others in their vocations, the three people were intensely interested
in
stories and writing. The excitement was palatable, while relating details
or making suggestions. Arrhae enjoyed the thrill and the creativity these
two people inspired within her. It was a welcome respite from her duties
to her hru'hfir (Lord) and their son.
Garbed in her faded finery, the noble T'Asal reclined easily in her
chair, toying with her green bloodstone, a remnant of her family's treasures.
She and Izh had known
each other for a while and were comfortable in their association. Her
voice practically purred as she made an interesting offer, "Arrhae, have
you experienced a mind meld?"
"No, Illhei." Arrhae shyly answered. She enjoyed referring to her friend
by tittle.
The young hru'hfe had found this particular person most intriguing. She admired her. The night before, they had been working together in their special writing room. Arrhae had written what she thought had been a very revealing and potentially controversial scene to the Illhei. When the Vulcan woman had disappeared after reading it, Arrhae had feared the worst. She had been certain that T'Asal had reconsidered her association with the simple hru'hfe. Arrhae had interpreted her absence as a rejection as well as issuing an unspoken phrase: You have acted inappropriately. We will no longer speak.
But by this morning, it had been discovered that it had been merely a miscommunication. A technical difficulty, not a personal one. After a nerve wracking, gut wrenching night of worry, Arrhae had been elated by this revelation. Then when the pair invited her to join them once again today, she was filled with the joy of friendship renewed.
"I have not had the opportunity to engage in a mind meld." The curly haired servant began. "The skill had been lost with the death of our lead telepath twenty years ago. As a child, before her death, my mother had passed on the teachings through our family bond. But as with many of us.." And the young women trailed off.
T'Asal looked to Izh. Understanding silently passed between them. The pair was keenly aware how as the psychic practices were being abandoned, the skill was becoming a lost art.
"Shall we? " Izh offered, lifting his two hands to the temples of the women on either side of him.
Everyone relaxed. The flow of friendship, joy and the excitement of knowing each other coursed through the three. They shared each others' thoughts and feelings. It was a most intimate experience. Perhaps Arrhae was not prepared for the overwhelming enveloping of the others. But she reveled in the sharing. As did the other two.
Without warning, Arrhae felt a tug from the outside. She resisted the
urge to look, but the tugging grew more insistent. With great reluctance,
she opened her eyes. The urgent dark face of her hru'hirh (liege lord)
filled her vision.
"My duties are complete. I require your assistance. . . . Now, hru'hfe!"
He took a step back, not out of respect for privacy, but as a gesture to
hurry her along. His eyes never left her.
"Just a moment, please" Arrhae turned back to her two friends. They had emerged from the meld as well.
"My services are required. Thank you for a lovely day," she bowed her head slightly. "Jolan Tru"
The two returned her bow in respect and replied, "Jolan Tru." Then proceeded back into the meld. Arrhae watched them, not with envy but joy, at having even shared a small piece of them. She hoped they would have a pleasant afternoon together. They usually did.
As she followed two steps behind her hru'hfirh, the meld experience still lingered in her mind. She was certain she could almost hear and feel them as well. The sensation was most pleasing and invigorating. It had been a long time since she had been excited about people.
Ever since the transfer from Firestorm, there has been a discovery of her newfound abilities. Arrhae had felt a sort of awakening within herself. Passions, desires, abilities.all seemed to emerge from her simple core. Elements which had been previously latent now seemed crucial to her existence. Much of this metamorphosis revolved around Izh and T'Asal as well. She hoped that their association could continue.
Upon returning to their quarters, she was enthusiastically greeted by their boisterous son. He had returned from his studies and was eager for their company, but her master had other plans. He entreated the young boy to view his favorite video.
Once settled in front of the screen, her master turned to her, "Now that the boy is occupied for the moment," and he gestured to the bathroom.
She knew his meaning and what was in store for her. Usually this offering caused a grimace of revulsion to swell inside her. But today she was feeling most passionate, after the torrent of emotions the night before and this afternoon's excitements.
In the tiny bathroom, she took him. He was surprised at her passion and assumed it was because of him. The meld still played in her mind. Her imagination ran wild. As they stood and copulated, Arrhae imagined she was T'Asal being ravished by Izh. Then as she grasped her ankles and was penetrated from behind, she thought herself and T'Asal combined as one female being taken by Izh. Finally as she wrapped her legs around her hru'hfirh's waist while he sat on the tub's edge, her body became both Izh and T'Asal and she was taking them.
After he had expended his passion, she was still not satisfied. She
wanted to do this herself with the guiding hands of T'Asal and Izh. As
the semen dripped from her, trailing down her leg, her orgasm ripped thru
her. She willed this to her two friends. None of this passion was for him,
her master. Both of their bodies were the vehicles,
conduits for the powerful mind meld with her friends.
She had the nights to herself, after her duties were complete. This night, as for the past week of nights, she and her new found friend, T'Asal shared the evening. Izh did not join them because he was pleasantly occupied with his own mate.
At first, it was their common acquaintance in him which brought the
two women together during their friendly strolls through the common area.
The hru'hfe
found in T'Asal a very talented and fascinating person, humorous and
beautiful. Not just in a physical way, though her appearance was appealing.
But something within her, touched the young woman and drew her to her.
Every night which they had shared together only strengthened Arrhae's
compulsion to be in her presence. To Arrhae it seemed that the older woman
had found a likable
companion in her as well. She seemed to be available to Arrhae and
never shrugged her company. The friendless hru'hfe took this as a welcome
sign.
"Shall we try the lounge again this evening?" T'Asal asked Arrhae.
As the charming woman demurely made her request, Arrhae thought she saw a look of longing sparkle in the woman's dark eyes.
"It seems to be full again" Arrhae reacting to this, answered softly and returned the look.
As the two strolled along the busy corridors, their eyes frequently met. Each woman catching the look of the other and returning it. Slightly annoyed at being held up by the busy crowds, they halted at a turn in the corridor and retreated into alcove, escaping the throng. It was dim, secluded and out of eyeshot.
"Perhaps we should try another common area. My clan has one, " T'Asal suggested and prepared to head back into the stream of bodies.
Something inside Arrhae grew very quiet and intense. An overwhelming longing came over her. Something she had not felt in years. She noticed her labored breathing as her nervous trembling grew. Her heart quickened thumping in her body. The blood pounded in her head while her ears grew fiercely hot. She parted her lips to speak. Words that she longed and feared to utter.
"I . . would . . rather . .just kiss you."
She rushed at T'Asal, pressing the taller woman against the wall, pinning her with her slight weight. Her tiny hands reached up to grab the taller woman's face. Her eyes blazed as she saw in T'Asal's eyes what she desperately sought.
"You did understand me!" The woman's cool composure momentarily fled
as
Arrhae crushed her lips beneath her own.
Her face and mouth sought passion in T'Asal. As she drew her face from the lady's she breathlessly asked, "Is this wanted? Do you wish more? I wish to give you more."
Her lips reached out to this enchanting being before her. But she stayed her passion, waiting for permission.
As the two women stood pressed to the wall, eyes and hearts locked in passion, T'Asal's voice brought them to their next step. "I have all the passion for thee. . . "
Arrhae stopped her words with lip-crushing intensity. The noble woman sighed then slumped beneath the tiny hru'hfe's deep forceful kisses. Surrendering to that which the young woman had awakened deep within her own being.
When Arrhae drew her hungry mouth off her lover's swollen lips, she licked and savored the cinnamon flavor clinging to her own. T'Asal eyes were wide open in surprise. Surprised at the intensity and fury of this most unexpected passion.
She quickly murmured, "Rihanha t'hy'la," Her elegant hand brushed a
stray lock of hair from the young woman's small oval face.
"This word means many things, friend, sister, beloved . . lover. Which
do you wish this to be?"
T'Asal momentarily reached for another kiss, but held back for the answer that her own heart waited upon.
Arrhae looked at her secret heart's desire and answered with all the love she had in her heart. "I choose all to be with thee."
Their lips met, seeking and kissing the essence and passion in the other. Together, consumed by these releasing words, they surrendered to what they have both longed for, for such a long time.
The sounds of the night life intruded upon their cocoon of intimacy. Reluctantly Arrhae's fingers disentangled themselves form T'Asal's dark tresses. The lady's fingers released their grip on the tunic of the one before her. Her tongue wet her lips as she whispered, "My t'hy'la..... " With the lightest touch, TAsal's fingers grazed Arrhae's neural points along her face. The hru'hfe's knees quivered with this brushing of thoughts.
T'Asal's own arousal flowered after this teasing taste of promised passions. "I must control until thee are prepared for what I desire." Seeing that this one before her was just as much under her spell as she was under hers. Her fingers affectionally fondled Arrhae's dark mass of curls.
"And your desire?" Arrhae could barely get out as she closed her eyes. Deep throaty moans came one right after another, her fierce desire blazing and all consuming.
Affected by the sensual response of this woman before her, T'Asal's own desires brimmed threatening to overflow. Her fingers clenched in Arrhae's curls as she whispered, "Do you wish to share a mind fire?" She paused while enjoying the view of this Rihanha before her, biting her lower lip, nodding helplessly. T'Asal drew so close their faces threatening to touch. The sweet breath of the young woman gently blew on her chin. T'Asal longed to taster her mouth but stayed that impulse. Her voice grew intense as she whispered deeply, "One that burns so slow your thoughts are consumed by mine."
It only took a heart beat for Arrhae to murmur her answer, "Ie" As she continued, her fingers suddenly found strength to brush over the lady's neural points, "To be wanted by you is so ...I can barely breath, my hands are shaking."
"I can see that." T'Asal smiled. Then her own lip quivered as she watched the tears slide down the young hru'hfe's cheeks.
Arrhae broke their momentary silence with her quivering voice, "I cherish thee." Then the words tumbled out, "How can this be? We do not know each other. It happened so fast for me..."
T'Asal lovingly dried the young woman's wet face. Arrhae cherished the caress of her t'hy'la's hands and whispered her heart's deepest desire. "Take me please, my beautiful t'hy'la. I am yours, mind, body and soul."
It was what T'Asal longed to hear. Together they left the alcove in pursuit of privacy for this deepest and most intimate of sharings.
the end...
