For many years, Millionaire Businessman Angus McGuffin fought crime as the masked high-tech vigilante, the Huntsman. For decades, he was the terror of Groginhatten's criminals. Over time, he clashed with crime lords, criminal syndicates, gangs, terroists and even some of the greatest supervillains in the world. In 1976, he and the newly-formed Grogginghatten Four teamed up to defeat Dr Destructo as he was on the verge of unleashing his first ever Orbital Death Ray Cannon.

Unfortunately, he was also a (relatively) normal human. This meant that, over the course of these decades, he began to get old and his abilities began to suffer as a result. Likewise, the job of running a huge, high-tech company began to eat up more and more of his time. For a while, he considered retiring the Huntsman. Then, an idea struck him. He passed the mantle of the Huntsman on to his dropout son, Angus Jr.

Unfortunately, Angus Jr is an irresponsible, lecherous, smutty, smarmy worthless dropout. And his devotion to the job was less than what was hoped for. He spent more time chasing skirts than he did chasing criminals, and spent more evenings clubbing than fighting crime. However, Angus Sr didn't want to give up on him. So, using his vast wealth, he bought Angus Jr a superhero team. Three mediocre superheros were teamed up with the new Huntsman. They would help Angus fight criminals, while keeping his mind on the job. So far, it's worked. The DoSR approved the group, while the media have lapped them up.

And everyone is still convinced that it's the same guy.
