The time has come, it's for the best I know it, who could have guessed that you and I... somehow, someday, we'd have to say goodbye. Sniffle. That song always makes me cry... well, that was my little way of saying that the website is, well, going into retirement. Now before you all start your clamourin' and complainin', it's still going to be up here, and I'm going to continue to post the remainder of any fanfics I already have up here (Guided by Starlight, namely) if the writers want to send them, but other than that, there will be no new updates to this place. That means no more TLU applications, too. The only thing that will remain in use is the Enlightened By Insanity message board, not that anyone goes there anyway, so feel free to post on that if you have a problem with the game - I won't be checking it as often as I used to, though. Please do not spam me with e-mails saying "What happened to being devoted to the game until you die, e.t.c.?" We are not forsaking Final Fantasy VII! We just think we've done all that can be done with it (the site that is, not FFVII, although we've done just about everything that we can do with that apart from microwaving the CD-ROMs and twisting the melty discs into freaky modern art mini-sculptures), and I don't really have the time to keep up-to-date with it anymore. I know it's sad, and I know that a lot of you have enjoyed this site, thanks to all the positive comments we've been receiving, but when you can't do anything more with a site then it's best to move on. May you be Squareheads the rest of your lives, and I hope you will support us in whatever else we decide to do. Until then, arigato and oyasumi-nasai. - Cloud.
