Welcome to the Knights of Rivendell Homepage
This Web Ring was designed as a community service to the citizens of Rivendell, FortuneCity's Roleplaying District. By using th links provided, visitors may easily surf from one site to another, enjoying the colorful and original sites that make our district what it is.For those not familiar with FortuneCity, let us explain. FortuneCity is a free webspace and e-mail provider, offering 20 megs for youre site, and divided into seperate "districts" depending on interests. Each district acts as a community, and has it's own message boards and chat rooms.
Rivendell, as mentioned before, is the Roleplaying district. Though not all of the sites have a roleplaying theme, almost all of the "residents" are interested in roleplaying of one type or another. This means that most of the sites are imaginative and original, at the very least.
Of course, if you are a resident, you know all this, and are screaming at us to get on with it......
Submissions
Here are a few rules for admittance to the Knights of Rivendell.....
1. Sites must be residences in Rivendell. We would like to accept all sites that are roleplaying based, but right now, it's just for our neighbors.
2. FortuneCity Guidelines must be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in rejection/expulsion from the ring, and possibly having the site reported. The Guidelines can be found here.
3. The HTML fragment must be placed in an easily accessible location on your site. This can be a links page, provided it is listed as such.

FortuneCity Sign-Up
What, you don't have a FortuneCity site? That's easy. Just hit this button, and they'll take it from there.
That's about it. The only other thing to add is that the HTML's are a bit different then those used by other rings, as they consist of image maps. Right now, we have two different graphics to go with this ring. Take a look at the examples below, and decide which you want.
