At the begining Caitlin Fairchild fills you in with some info about what has happened in the 1/2s that you may have not of been able to get a hold of. (Such as me!!)Then she says where the others have gone to: Sarah Rainmaker headed to Arizona, and Roxy and Grunge headed to California in search of Roxy's step-mom. Caitlin went to San Diego to meet up with her sister and her now husband that was her high school sweatheart.
From the airport Cait took a bus and met up with her sister. It was a warm welcome, then when Karen (Cait's sister.) made her now husband mad he raised his hand to attack her Cait showed a bit of her Gen-power and nearly broke his wrist. That's when some guys attacked, then she just happened to run in a path of a train coming across the tracks. Karen thought that Cait was dead for sure, but Cait had lifted a big part of the train over her head and threw it towards the guys that were after her, not intentianaly trying to kill them though.
Now we go to Rainmaker and Robert Lane (A.K.A. Burnout) is driving his way across the Arizona desert to meet up with Sarah. When he finally gets to her she ends up dragging him with her and they went on a little flight tour their way. After a long conversation between the two of them they head back to Sarah's home. She then leaves with Bobby and they head to Las Vegas to pick up Roxy and Grunge.
Roxy and Grunge have visited all the casinos and still haven't found Roxy's mom. They then reach the last casino on the list. Then Grunge says he's hungry, Roxy offers him the last of her money, but Grunge had a better idea. He had Roxy use her Gensis powers to cause the ball for those spinner things to land of the number that they bet on. That way they could make lots of money. Then this weird guy walks up and gives him his jacket and sunglasses. The manager of the casino ends up mistaking him for the guy that gave him the jacket and has some goons go after them. They divert them as well as they can then run into Sarah and Bobby, they then drove away at high speed.
At the end the whole gang finally gets together and meets at the new place the Lynch said that they should now call home. ^_^*
Gen13 #1
At the begining you have two characters fighting that kind of remind me of two characters from Mortal Kombat. (Mileena and Rayden.) Then it switches to Grunge and Roxy playing a 1 on 1 game and Roxy ends up winning, Grunge wasn't all that happy about it. They play around for a while then ends up desturbing Fairchild whilst she works on her computer. Fairchild leaves the scene and runs into Lynch. Of course reading more and more of the comics you would think that Fairchild and Lynch are secretly having a relationship. (ACK!!)
Now here is something that really didn't shock me, Sarah ends up coming out nude, (but you don't see anything. HAHA ^_^*) causing Grunge to break his controler, and Bobby to break one of his guitar strings. Of course Ana wasn't so pleased about what Sarah was doing. Rainmaker says that it's something she did a lot at her hometown.
Well, now we come to Roxy, since Grunge pissed her off she goes to a night club to dance and cool off. Then she meets a guy that looks... a lot like Trent R-something from N.I.N. This is the comic where she runs into Qeelock. (The little thing is soo darn cute!!) Then a couple of villians show up in an alley. Lynch, back at their home is woken up by the alert going off. He gets the group together to go stop what ever is going on. A battle goes on between the villians and Gen13. When the battle is finally over, they're back at the place they call home and Roxy gets to keep the cute little Qeelock as a pet.

In this comic you get to know Grunge's true name: Percival Edmund Chang. Of course I don't think they mention his name ever again later on in the comics. It also uncovers another thing: Sarah Rainmakers true side. She's gay!! This totally shocked me, I couldn't believe it! They usually never have this kind of stuff in comics. But hey, she's a made up character, you can create any kind of interests and personality for your character.
After a couple of pages Helmut then shows up, and my comic book character "Shi's" name appears in this comic. Each one of Gen13 battles him then Grunge punches Helmut's armor button that removes his armor. Eep! He's left standing naked with only CK Briefs left on. (ICK!!)

Here Fairchild taped into Lynches secret files to see if she can find out more about her father. Then Lynch caught her and they kinda got in a fight and Cait stormed out, and the group followed her. She ended up taking them all the way to Beverly Hills which was unexpected to them. They then meet up with an old lady that had told them a kind of story, talking about her son and so on. Fairchild ends up making a deal with the lady, which wasn't that good of an idea to the rest. Later that night they end up sneaking around their things into the car and heading on their way.
When they get far into their destination, the man that was leading them.. wouldn't take them any further, but he did show them how to get to where they wanted to go. They sped really fast and ended up crashing, causeing all of them to get seperated.
Fairchild reaches shore and reveals that for some strange reason she always losses articles of clothing when they get into trouble. (no wonder guys think she's so hot...) Then we go to Rainmaker and Grunge, and they end up running into a clan of women who speak a language that grunge doesn't understand and neither do they about his.

In this one Burnout and Roxy are sorta rescued by pirates... I guess, and Roxy goes through a whole "clueless" episode. ^_^* I thought it was cool, but most readers didn't like it... samething with Sarah being gay. Well, I'm gonna skip a few pages. When then meet a man that calls himself James McArthur, and he has set a couple of bombs around the area of his crashed plane and Fairchild just happened to step on one of them and lands right in Jimmy's lap. Um... I guess after this not much happens so, I'm moving to the next comic.

One of the Coda members... um.. sorta.. her name is Daphne she helps Rainmaker out and sets her free. Then Rainmaker knocks out a coda member and dresses in her clothes. Later on, Fairchild and Jimmy are getting ready to sneak into the Coda area. The same thing goes for the pirates. Back at the Coda place they all get prepared for a ceremony of some sort... then they have to make a human sacrifice which just happens to be Grunge.
At the gates of the Citadel, the pirates have attackes and the Coda warriors are tryin to keep them from entering. When they finally break their way in a big battle begins. Then somewhere in the battle we find out that the captain pirate just happens to be Daphne's father.... but of course everything ends good and well. ^_^*

In this one Gen13 kinda go through a fashion episode and they all get new looks... whih don't look that bad on any of them. But the kinda wrong thing is that Grunge totally ignores Roxy when the girls show up. It didn't please Roxy at all... (poor girl.) Oh, and hey, I don't think Bobby looks all that bad in here either. ^_^* Well, later on I think it was only Bobby and Sarah who got drunk... but when they got back to the room a big boo-boo happens... (uh-oh) It hurts Bobby really hard that Sarah won't have anykind of feelings for him... (oh poor bobby)
After words they all meet with each other, except Bobby who is pissed. Then a group of evil villans I guess shows up and starts a fight with them. After a couple of pages of fighting, they retreat and Bobby is saved by Bliss.

Here I was wondering how Fairchild got so quickly into her costume, but it just happened to be that Threshold and Ivana are putting their fighters through a bit of a virtual training. Then it goes back to Bliss and Burnout... and um.. Bliss is kinda hitting on Bobby, (eep) but he backs her away. Then Bobby uses somekind of pshyic powers and found that Sarah was in the sewer and kinda comes to her rescue. Only she didn't seem to thrilled that Bliss was there as well.
All three of them then sneak into HQ of Thresholds and Ivana's place and they go to the men's room... which was kinda unexpected. ^_^* After getting rid of the men there Sarah and Bliss start calling each other names. They were so fixed at bitching at each other they blew away a big group of soldiers without knowing it until later.
Well, meanwhile, these people have a hold of the Gen13 and keep asking them what their mission is and stuff. They have these green suits on so they would be powerless. Then somehow Grunge causes Roxy to want to hit him, but she ends up hitting the guard instead. Which gave Cait the idea, and got hands free when a guy tried to shoot at her. She then tore of parts of the green suits so that she can aquire some of her power back, the rest did so as well.
When all was done they piled on a plane and headed on their way home.

Umm.. this one is very mixed up... I read it page per page the first time. Then afterwords I went through it again and read it in the kind of order I thought suited it better. I don't know why they had everything mixed up like that... it kinda didn't make sense at first until I finally got done reading through the whole thing. ^_^* umm... sorry to dissapoint you though I'm not gonna give a review on this one because consider me too damn lazy.

Umm... I just now found this out. I would tell you the reviews... only problem is. I think I left it in this big box of other comics I own. I don't remember much about the comic. I just know that the Trent look a like shows up again and takes control over Fairchild and turns her to bad bad girl. I also only remember that on the cover there are a bundle of stuffed animals. That's pretty much all I know. This really sucks! It could take me forever before I end up finding that book!! (argh!)
Well, that's all the comics of Gen13 that I have so far. I only wish I could get more. Only I heard that J. Scott Campbell stopped drawing for Gen13. It won't be the same without him!!! BOO-HOO!!!!! :(
