So, what IS this realm, what is it's purpose? Well then, in the Forgotten Realms, lies the fabulous city of Waterdeep. But even the Sun casts a shadow, so it is with the "jewel of the North". Below the city's streets lies the vast, sprawling labyrinth known as "Undermountain". An enormous dungeon, once home to ancient dwarves, now filled with wonders and horrors of all kinds.
Here, adventurers come from across the globe to explore, to quest, to fight, to steal, to learn....
Neverwinter Nights is a game created by Interplay, unlike most other games, it is we, the players, who can create, and run our own games and worlds! And so, Silverblade the Enchanter, has donned the guise of mad Halaster, and created for his friends the fantastic, dreadful, wonderful realm of UNDERMOUNTAIN!! This site is named "Halaster's Halls", since the archmage is said still to wander the halls that he emptied of the evil drow a millenia ago, whic is ironic, considering the vicious dark elves had exterminated the good dwarven folk who carved out Undermountain exactly a millenia before their own annihilation!

Each section here in has the information you seek, as time passes, much of the hidden knowledge that is gained by searching heroes will be added to these libraries. Items in RED NOTATION are important game rules!

The Entrance has the broad view, and links to other places.
In The Yawning Portal, you will learn of the main entrance to Undermountain: it's character's, it's villains and what may be found in the home of Durnan the Wanderer. Also, the tales and deeds of the adventurers who go below can be found here.
Naturally, Undermountain houses the lore and the maps of the ancient catacombs.
It suprises some, but there are inumerable creatures and people living below the bustling city above. Denizens names the major characters to be found, and some of the particular horrors to be found...
Skullport! Aye, a grim place spoken of in legend and tales to frighten the young ones...but the legendary, subterranean port DOES exist!
Heroes, last, but by no means least! These are the hardy souls who venture into the unquiet depths...read of them, salute their bravery, or laugh at their folly, as you willst. But always remember, though they be at the bottom, they are the folk without whom the tales would never be!

May thee enjoy this place, and thy explorations of Halaster's Halls...
