Mew in Pokemon Pinball

Pokémon Pinball Info

In Pokemon Pinball for Gameboy Color, you have the opportunity to catch all 151 Pokémon! Without the use of a Game Shark or Game Genie to boot!

How to get to the Bonus Stages

First of all you need to beat all the bonus games. To access the games, light up the three Pokeball symbols. This can be done by catching a Pokémon (1 light) or evolving a Pokemon (2 lights). Once three are lit, shoot your ball into the Bonus Cave that opens up. Each table has it's own Bonus games that you'll need to clear.

Red Table

1) Diglett Stage (no time limit, 1 ball):

Knock down all the Diglett and a Dugtrio will appear at the top. Hit him three times and you'll clear the stage.

2) Gengar Stage (1:30 time limit, unlimited balls):

Hit all the Gastly that appear. After you're done that, hit all the Haunter that appear. Finally, repeatidly hit the Gengar that appears. Watch out, cause when he stomps down, it'll send your ball bouncing. You'll know he's beat when he fades back from where he came from.

Blue Table

1) Meowth Stage (1:00 time limit, unlimited balls):

Hit Meowth so he drops his coins. Get enough coins to fill the row at the top (20 coins). If you collect coins one after the other quickly, it'll multiply your coins and points. Although you have unlimited balls, your coins decrease when you lose a ball.

2)Seel Stage (1:30 time limit, unlimited balls):

Hit the Seel's to get a full row at the top (20 Seels). If you hit the Seel's without missing one in succession, you'll multiply your points and Seels by two each time. The most you can get to is 256 at a time for massive points! Your Seels decrease when you lose a ball.

Mewtwo Stage

3) 2:00 time limit, unlimited balls. Hit Mewtwo's psychic balls and they'll disapear. Hit Mewtwo many times (around 20) to beat him. The psychic balls will protect Mewtwo, but you can shoot through them. They will reappear if you take too long. Mewtwo's worth a ton of points.

How to get Mew

First you must beat the Mewtwo Bonus Stage three times. Not an easy task by any means. Second, make your way to Indigo Plateau using Map Move 5 times. That means on the Red table, hitting the Diglett on either side three times, shooting your ball around the loop in the direction of the arrow, and hitting the Bonus Cave. On the Blue table, his Psyduck or the Poliwag button 3 times, shooting your ball around the loop in the direction of the arrow, and hitting the Bonus Cave. With any luck (and a massive score), Mew will appear. You hafta hit him many, many times. You can't "capture" Mew by normal means, but if you hit him enough in succession, his Pokedex will appear in your Pokedex. If you're unsure, press start, save your game, and take a look at your Pokedex
