SURVIVOR: Cuban Beach

Day One

***

Team Sonic is off to an interesting start. Already what seems to be an alliance has formed between Oglivie, who prefers to be called Sonic, Miles, who goes by Tails, and Rouge the Bat. Knuckles is already hard at work building a hut for the team, and fishing. Ivo is already nude sunbathing. Amy Rose is trying to form an alliance with Sonic, but having no success. Shadow spends his time primarily trying to find edible plants on the island, and feuding with Omochao, who has come out of the closet. Shadow has been calling him Homochao. By the afternoon, the group has some lunch. Amy Rose works on her tan and complains about the heat. Omochao needs to be wound up. Rouge climbs up in the trees and picks branches to use as a roof for the hut. They soon get some tree mail for a luxury challenge.
Team ED is having a good deal of bickering as well. Alex, Edward and Paul decide to try to go fishing. Karim and Pious argue about the better way to fish. Roberto confesses he is an adult baby diaper enthusiast and will require regular changings. He demonstrates this need by throwing a tantrum. Anthony promptly burns upon entering the sun, so he hides in the trees. Mike accuses Paul of being a racist. They have not caught any food by the time the tree mail luxury challenge appears.

The teams meet up at Point de la Cigar. Robert is waiting for them with a big plate of hot dogs.
"Here I have two boxes of Cuban cigars. Inside one cigar from each box will be a mini Cuban flag. Your team will have to smoke these cigars until you find a flag inside. The first team to find the Cuban flag will win this plate of delicious Herbrew National hot dogs." said Robert.

The teams gasp. Robert rubs his big belly as it rumbles. Ivo licks his chops. Some traditional Cuban music plays as the teams begin to smoke.

From the Sonic team, Tails and Rouge are off to the quickest starts, puffing away, and finishing their first cigars in under a minute. Omochao begins to malfuction, but keeps going. Amy Rose whines while smoking her cigar about how it tastes like dirt. It looks painfully obvious that neither Omo or Amy will smoke even a full cigar, but they keep trying.

Alex and Karim are the big smokers from Team ED. Anthony burns himself and staunchly refuses to touch another cigar, igniting team anger and harsh words. Roberto isn't smoking very fast either, stopping every few seconds to let out a big phlegmy cough. Paul Luther ends up picking the first lucky cigar with the Cuban flag after 4 minutes and 28 seconds of smoking from the teams. The plate of franks goes to Team ED.

Ivo Robotnik causes Survivor's first documented act of cannibalism as he bites into Roberto who shoved 4 hot dogs into his mouth at once.

The first night, Team Sonic goes back to camp hungry and angry. They begin to discuss their strategy for the first immunity challenge the next day. They fish some more and dig up an old boot and a cigar box. Knuckles works hard to build a bonfire, and Rouge makes repairs to the hut. Sonic and Tails go hunting for bananas in the woods. They decide to ally with Rouge and discuss who they will vote off if they lose the immunity challenge.

Tails: I really feel that Omochao will be a lot more trouble than he's worth on the island.
Sonic: I disagree. I think that Amy is the one who will really bring us down eventually. I mean, Omo will have to go, but Amy is our biggest roadblock right now.
Tails: How can you even say that? Omo needs oiling, and winding-
Sonic: Yes. Yes. But Amy hasn't contributed anything to the group yet. And she brought us down in the challenge today.
Tails: Well what about Ivo? He started that fight...he could be dangerous, plus he's already been sneaking our rations.
Sonic: Well I think we're just going to have to wait and see how Rouge feels, and we'll talk to her tonight whene everyone's asleep.
Shadow and Knuckles work on building a raft to fish upon, and also discuss maybe starting a voting bloc.

One Team ED, everyone is angry with Roberto, who has eaten more than his fair share of hot dogs.

Alex: Yeah Roberto...you know, those are for the team.
Roberto: But I'm bigger. It's only logical that I should have a bigger share...right? Right?
Mike: Man, that ain't cool yo. That's, like racist and *expletive*.
Roberto: Race has nothing to do with it.
Karim: Whatever man...you should've shared.
Paul: I wouldn't have eaten any, anyway.
Anthony: Yeah well...I'm pretty hungry. I feel as if some hot dogs would be pretty tasty.

While the team sleeps, Alex and Edward discuss the weak links in the team. They decide that Roberto is obviously the weakest member, and will probably have to go.

At night, Rouge, Sonic and Tails meet outside of camp on Team Sonic and discuss how they will vote.

Day Two

***

The next morning, Shadow is the first person awake on Team Sonic. He runs around the camp and decides to go fish for breakfast. Knux soon joins him. Amy Rose sleeps in the latest and wakes up. She shows us her Scrapbook: "Well...these are my pictures of Sonic. And I feel like they maybe want to vote me out. I think they percieve me as a threat for the money. But I wouldn't EVER vote out Sonic because I love him. I think this is a real test of our love."

At Team ED, the team is awakened to an awful smell. Roberto has wriggled out of his diaper and is playing in his mess. He finally gets Anthony to clean him up. An interview with Roberto reveals his true feelings: "No.I don't think there are any plans to vote me out yet. I've been working hard and getting along with everyone. And who doesn't love a baby?"

The teams meet that afternoon at the Point for the immunity challenge. The teams would select members to swim out to the middle of the ocean, build an effigy of a Game Cube out of floating pieces of balsa wood, swim back with it, bring it on the beach, and the rest of the team fills it with sand with their hands. The team with enough sand in their giant Game Cube effigy to sustain a flagpole with their team flag on it wins the immunity. Robert explained the rules to the teams. Team Sonic selected Amy Rose, Knuckles and Ivo to swim out and build the effigy. Team ED chose Mike, Pious and Anthony to build their effigy. The game began. Team Sonic was off to a good start, with Knuckles and Ivo taking the lead and reaching the effigy...but they would have to wait for Amy to arrive before they began building their Game Cube from the floating pieces of wood.

Luckily for Team Sonic, Pious began to sink almost immediately, and Anthony faltered as well. Amy Rose finally reached the box, and they bantered about the best way to build the GC. Pious clutched Anthony and cast an X'ellotath spell that transported them immediately to the construction site where Mike was waiting. Team Sonic had finally completed their box and were swimming awkwardly back to shore. But miraculously, Team ED was already on shore with their perfectly completed Game Cube. Pious was stroking his staff and smiling, while pargon symbols dissolved into the sand. Team ED was busy filling their box with sand, and had soon pitched their flag inside. Robert proudly gave Team ED immunity as the bright sun started to set behind the beautiful Cuban islandscape.

Vote One

***

The Sonic Team met in the Cuban ceremony hut. The teammates carried their torches inside to be lit by Robert. Then they all say on ceremonial Cuban cigar boxes.

Robert: Now, Sonic, how do you think your team has done up to this point?
Sonic: Well, we've been real disappointed, what with losing both the competitions up to this point, but I think we have a good team spirit, and we'll come back hard tomorrow.
Robert: Ivo...what do you feel your team's weaknesses are?
Ivo: I, um, think that the team isn't working together. And I think there's already some conspiring going on. You know...voting alliances.
Robert: Tails...are there alliances?
Tails: Huh?
Robert: How about you Amy? Are there alliances?
Amy: I would never ally to vote against SONIC.
Robert: Well it's time to vote. Sonic...you first.

Sonic steps up to the voting box, and writes AMY.

Sonic: We didn't vote in a bloc for you tonight, but I think we should've. You've done nothing He folds the paper and places it in the box.

Some more people vote. We see Rouge step up to the box. She writes OMOCHOW on a piece of paper and holds it up to the camera.

Rouge: You are bringing the team down. It was nice knowing you.

Robert goes to get the votes. He returns with the box.
The voting results are revealed.

Robert: The tribe has spoken. The first person voted off of Cuban Island is...Tails. Please extinguish your torch and leave.

Some island music plays. Tails looks stunned and begins to cry. Sonic and Rouge look stunned. Tails leaves.
Everyone else goes back to the island. At camp, they discuss the voting that night.

Ivo: Tails wasn't helping at all. Plus I think he was scheming to bring me down.
Amy: I would NEVER vote against you Sonic.

Final Words:

Tails: Well…I had fun on the island these past two days. I can’t help but wonder what the reason for the vote was. I think maybe Sonic that slimy expletive deleted was behind this, making me we were allies but really just wanted to turn everyone against me to win. Well Sonic, you may be a snake in the grass, but I guarantee that everyone will find out, and you will not win this contest. To everyone else, I will hunt you down and

Scenes from the next SURVIVOR

With Team ED's string of luck, it seems that the next month will be more like a peaceful holiday.

Edward: (lounging in a hammock, clinks a glass with Roberto, who's resting on the ground next to him) Cheers.
Pious: (to camera) The next month, I predict, will be a cakewalk. Look at who we're up against. (smirks)

But is there trouble in paradise?

Anthony: (VO as camera pans to view filthy team camp in disarray) Nobody does anything around here. Roberto ate all of our prize food already. Pious broke our boat. We've got nothing. Nothing but rats and mud. (Anthony shows off his peeling hand to camera) And scurvy. I think that's what that is, anyway.
Alex: (yelling) You guys are so (bleep)ing lazy! (throws a pan into the sand) We're going to lose if you don't get on the ball!
Paul: (to camera) I think...uh...Alex. She needs to tone it down a bit.
(shot of Alex sneering, turning away from the camera, with her arms crossed)

Also, the summer heat is getting to Team Sonic...

Rouge: (to camera) Is there something going on between me and...Knuckles?

...and the team is beginning to feel it!

Sonic: (clicks tongue) Rouge and Knuckles...(camera shot of the two walking down the beach hand-in-hand)
Rouge: (shot of her sitting on her sleeping tarp) You've got no clothes on!
Ivo: (sternly talking to Knuckles, tying something together) Well, you need to stop thinking with your (bleep) and start doing something.

Rouge: (to camera) Well, I won't say anything. Not yet. (giggles)
