Gentle Giant
A legend of the North American Natives, who respect Sasquatch almost
as a demigod ~ and an unforgetable experience to some Modern Day vacationers, who occasionally have sighted,
tracked, and even photographed this fearsome, yet some report gentle creature of the Big Woods.
Prefering Virgin Forest over any other terrain as its home, the Sasquatch is most often sighted as Man encroaches upon its world. The creature is intelligent, marked by the large brain pan ~ which is complimented by its equally huge body, measuring over seven feet tall and estimated to wiegh in excess of 400 pounds. |

The world famous amateur video, was taken with Super 8 film back in the 70s
by a group of campers, hiking in the vast expase of wilderness in Washington state.
Their tale is common for sightings of the creature, and all witnesses are credible members of respectable society.
As they approached a clearing one sunny summer afternoon,
Its gait and stance are consistent with the movements of primates who, unlike us homo sapiens,
tend to turn their whole body to look at something, rather than simply a turn of the head as we would do.
This is a prime indicator of a possible genuine sighting, as is a zipper of a hoax.
These thick woods are mostly uncharted by modern man and reach from northern California to Alaska and as far east as middle Montana. Except for a few modern incursions by the timber industry, the forest is pristine, and has been for millennia ~ just the sort of place that any such creature could remain undetected even today. But there have been reports of sightings, and bone chilling howls, in other more populated areas of the United States from Ohio, to North Carolina, to Mississippi ~ and Canada as well. |
