Construction Beyond the Ages
Massive stone blocks placed tens of stories high
and with exacting precision that rivals modern engineering.
Egyptians could not have built them ~ the Great Pyramid's height,
when multiplied by one trillion, is the distance from the Earth to the Sun !

When expert engineers were asked how they would go about constructing such buildings, they shrugged their shoulders and said they couldn't imagine how the Pyramids were built in the first place. Bottom Line: we couldn't do this today if we tried !
Masters of Architecture Many stones measure as big as a medium-sized house and weigh in at many tons. At over 50 stories, one is tempted to believe the legends that say how the blocks were actually "floated into place." In order to move stones so large, it would take a special type of crane. Currently, only three like it exist in the whole world ~ and they are the latest in modern technology. These special wonders of 20th Century construction would also have to be transported in special ships, with large manned crews for the land journey. The whole process could take many weeks. Suddenly, the slave theory doesn't seem quite so likely ~ though many attempts have been made to prove it, with varrying results. Expert Engineers But even if you could move the giant blocks, actually placing them is another issue altogether. The precision with which these prehistoric monuments were constructed rivals any modern building. Except for some of the more weathered outer stones ~ the joints are so perfect, you couldn't fit even a piece of paper between them. This stunning feature is prevalent throughout all three of the Giza Pyramids.
Other stunning examples of this type of architecture, though varrying in style somewhat, are found in many other ancient sites throughout the world, and in some cases (like Egypt) alongside more primitive examples ~ dating, supposedly, centuries before and after the more continuitous perfections. These many monuments worldwide have survived what now seems to be many thousands of years of earthquakes, floods and other natural disasters because of the structural integrity of the blocks' fit and placement. Also, after placement, they were secured by pouring molten steel into grooves cut into neighboring blocks ~ thousands of years before Man was supposed to have possessed such forging technology. Disaster Prevention The stones are kept firmly in place by metal "I-Bars" that were made by pouring the molten metal into grooves carved out into the adjacent blocks once they had been placed exactly where they were to remain for all time. This technique is also found in the best of ancient architecture throughout the world ~ in pyramids and other "ruins," though a better word might be simply "abandoned," because they're still in excellent shape considering their immense age. Even the accepted construction dates are well before Man is supposed to have learned to forge metal.

So they're unbelievably accurate Monuments of Ancient Architecture ? Well, they were definately built to last, and they have, for dozens of centuries.

The Great Pyramid of Giza (largest and northern-most), is actually a pretty good model of Earth's Northern Hemisphere at a ratio of exactly 1 : 43,200 which is a very round number ( 600 x 72 ), ( 480 x 90 ), ( 360 x 120 ), ( 300 x 144 ), ( 240 x 180 ), etc. ~ and is aligned to the "Cardinal Points" (North, South, East and West) much more accurately than even Modern Man is barely capable of today, The Royal Observatory in Greenwich, England is off by nearly 9 Minutes.

Whispering to the Worthy The buliders of the Giza Pyramids may be trying to tell us something. It's Northern face is positioned on the 30th Parallel, (30° North Latitude). But not exactly (it's off just a hair), whoever built them adjusted for the refraction of starlight through the Earth's atmosphere ! The whole Giza site, besides being precicely aligned to the Cardinal Points, speaks of a specific era in our planet's history, the Age of Leo (circa 10,500 BC) when the three main pyramids lined up with Orion's Belt, the Milky Way lined up with the Nile, and the Sphinx faced the constellation Leo on the eastern horizon, exactly as they appeared in the sky only in that era. More specifics on this are spelled out below. Our society, such as it is, is barely advanced enough to discover even the first riddles cleverly encoded within the Giza Complex. The calculations involved in the layout of Giza and it's monuments are so precise that they are a challenge for Modern Man to yet fully appreciate. For example, if you take the Circumfrence of the Great Pyramid, (the sum of it's sides) and Divide by it's Height, the Quotient is Pi (3.14) ~ the ultimate in round numbers !

When an earthquake nearly destroyed that city circa 1500 BC (due to the volcanic eruption that completely obliterated the Greek island of Santorini), residents of lower Egypt raided the facing stones of the Giza Pyramids to rebuild their houses ~ thereby exposing the massive "convenience store size" blocks that were used to construct the timeless monuments. Imagine their amazement at this discovery. Surely only the Gods could have built anything using such massive stones. But what if the legends were true, that the blocks that make up the Giza Pyramids were actually "floated into place" ?

So the Builders had Supreme Knowledge of Mathematics, Astronomy and Engineering ? Well, Ancient Egyptians didn't even possess the wheel or the pulley. So who built them, and why ?

could not possibly have hacked out such huge blocks of stone,
transported them the many miles distance from their quarries, and
placed them ever so precisely, several stories high, up miles of ramps,
even if it was for the ultimate immortality of their benevolant God King !

Studying the Stars Many Ancient Cultures knew some things that we ourselves are just discovering about Astronomy. Something very important and basic, and something only an advanced, long lived, civilization could have calculated or would ever really need to know. There is a cycle to Earth's sky beyond simple seasons and calandars you can count on your fingers. Still, the ancients carved these complex equations in stone. Simply put, they knew about the Age of Aquarius long before the moon approached the 7th House.

Earth's year isn't exactly what we thought it was, not 365.25 days ~ but approximately 365.2422 days. Not such a big difference, but it really adds up over time. Imagine that the solar system is a giant clock and the 12 signs of the Zodiac are the numbers. Earth's year would be a kind of cosmic second, and and an Astrological Age, like the Age of Aquarius, would be an hour, and the Sun's orbit in the Galaxy a kind of year. So not only do we have to throw in an extra day every four years to catch up (leap year), but we have to take back a day every 71.6 years to remain in sync with the seasons. This one day adds up. 30 of them and you're a whole month off. That happens every 4100 years or so ~ like clockwork. This "Precession" of time is called an Astrological Age and in each one there's a different Zodiacal Sign, (or Ecliptical Constellation), in that exact place in the sky on a certain day, (pick one). The stars we see in the sky will not be exactly where we left them in the years to come. Besides changing from day to day, and year to year, they move from Eon to Eon. Or rather, our perspective changes ~ like the hands on a clock looking around the room it's in.

The Dawning of a New Age Currently, we are in the Age of Pisces (the Fish), moving into the Age of Aquarius (the Water Bearer). In the time of the Egyptians, it was the Age of Taurus (the Bull). That's why you see alot of Bull's heads on artifacts from those Millennia, when the Sun came up in the Spring, the surrounding stars drew a pair of horns, like on a bull. It was important to them Navigationally, Seasonally, Agriculturally, and therefore Spiritually. This cycle eventually goes right back around to where it started in approximately 25,776 years. Today, the North Star is Polaris. This star in Ursa Minor (the Little Bear, or Little Dipper) marks the North Celestial Pole. 5000 years ago, Thuban (in Draco, the Dragon) held this honor. All of these celestial changes occur because the Earth's axis spins with us around the Sun, and every year the Constellations change their positions in the sky slightly. 10,000 years from now it will be Vega ~ that is, as long as the Earth's axis, or tilt, remains the same.

Robert Bauval, co-author of the Orion Mystery, was sitting around a campfire one night, with a Giza guide who pointed out Orion's Belt and how they form a not quite straight line. They then made the most astounding connection: they look just like a bird's eye view of the three Giza Pyramids that they were camped out beside. Further investigation showed that the stars are indeed an exact match, but not in direction or alignment. Because they knew about Precession, they wound the clock back further and further on the computer until the stars matched, and happened to find many other conincidental alignments ~ among them, the Milky Way to the Nile and the Sphinx to the constellation Leo (the Lion). But perhaps the most telling of all, is when this turns out to be, the Age of Leo (circa 10,500 BC). And 12,000 odd years is well withing the new highly controversial estimations for the age of the Sphinx (see below).

Gods of the Stars ! This is pretty much how the night sky appeared, facing South, between 12,000 and 13,000 years ago. Notice how as Orion's Belt matches precisely the alignment of the Pyramids, the Milky Way lines up exactly with the River Nile ! The ancient Egyptians recognized this pattern match, and attempted to recreate Heaven right here on Earth by building pyramids of their own (though somewhat more primitive), corresponding to the positions of the stars shown here denoting Osiris' left shoulder and right knee. But what would be more intriguing to discover, is something special (of equally impressive design), buried beneath the sands of time, in the exact location of the two brightest stars in this constellation, red supergiant Betelgeuse (310 ly away) and blue supergiant Rigel (910 ly away) ! Taking into account the alignments of the Sphinx to the constellation Leo in this era (see below), the builders of Giza seem to be using the site to tell time with the sky, on a scale of many millennia. Besides, Orion looks more like an Hourglass than some guy with a big stick ~ even if he is a God !

Earth ~ a Cosmic Settlement ! The bright star to the left of Orion, Sirius (for which this Website is aptly and comically named), is the brightest star in our sky ~ and very close to us at only 8.7 light years (right next door, as stars tend to go). In Egyptian Mythology it is known as Isis, and represents the Goddess of the same name (cosort to Osiris, whom we know as the Constelation Orion). Could this neighboring star be the origin of this Pantheon of "Mighty Gods" of Legendary deeds ~ or maybe just their major outpost in this sector of space? Such people, in possession of technologies advanced enough to travel the vast distances between stars, would surely have the skill and talent to create buildings and monuments of such magnificence ~ we surely don't (not yet anyway). In the year 10,500 BC, Egypt was one of the most fertile landscapes on Earth ~ and a perfect place to camp. With comparable terrain and climate to the present day American Southeast, the area of the Nile Delta was a veritable temperate paradise. A stone's throw from the Mediterranean Sea, this ancient city had easy access to Earth's Oceans and thus the rest of the world.

Ancient boats, that were found buried in the sand, are of a specific design that passed all modern scientific tests of seaworthiness with flying colors ~ surely capable of navigating a major deluge ~ perhaps an heirloom of a seafaring culture, like Atlantis! Similar reed boats are still handcrafted to this very day on Lake Titicaca, in the mountains of Peru, where the ruins of many ancient Mayan cities bear the same telltale "massive, minimalist architecture" and design signatures as is found only in the Giza Pyramids and certain other inscriptionless "temples" ~ some discovered only this century, buried under 50 feet of sand!

There is no imaginable need for lake vessels to be so sea worthy, or develop in this way !

The Martian Connection Our neighbor, the desert planet Mars, may well have once been very similar to Earth in many other respects, and possibly not so long ago as is widely held. Recent expeditions to the red planet have revealed massive floodplains and riverbeds, (scientists expect much of that water still exists in the soil as permafrost). Along the shoreline of one such great sea, in Cydonia, is perhaps the most controversial archaeological site in the solar system where a giant face staring out into space, and a geometrically positioned collection of pyramid mounds, dare us Earthlings to explore the ancient past. Cairo translates as "City of Mars." Could this be a linguistic clue as to the origins of that settlement? A New Historical Theory The following is a brief summary of the new timeline, as proposed by non mainstream scientists, with regards to the history of the Giza complex, primarily the Sphinx. There are two main reasons why this idea is so controversial: it places the Sphinx's construction at least 8000 years before current estimations, and most scientists agree that Humans were primitive hunter gatherers 12,000 years ago, possessing few skills and nothing we would remotely consider technology.

A coincidence of this magnitude is impossible. Note the intersection of the Ecliptic with Regulus (Alpha Leonis) ~ the brightest star, marking Leo's heart. It's also known as"The Royal Star" a shiny Blue Dwarf very near to us at a scant 85 light years distance. Could this be the spot in the Sphinx containing the lost Atlantis Records ? A very long time ago ..... The Sphinx was an enormous statue of a Lion. It faces East, where in the "Age of Leo" that easily recognizable constellation (which does happen to look remarkably like a lion, and really not much else), would rise at Dawn in the Spring. Many Hundreds of years go by ..... Rainfall reshapes the Body, Head and surrounding walls with the grooves and channels we see today, which are very characteristic of water erosion (very easy to recognize, just look at a muddy hill in the rain). Thousands of years go by ..... The area is no longer temperate and grassy, but an arid desert wasteland. Sand now covers just about everything as far as the eye can see, except the Pyramids and the Sphinx's head poking out of the Desert Floor. Several thousand more years go by ..... This time a new People have settled near the flood-plains of the Nile, the largest river around and only source of water, and made a new "Old Kingdom." This is Egypt around 5000 BC ..... The great stone Lion's Head, now withered away by wind, is barely recognizable as such, and someone decides it would be a good thing to restore the Monument ~ the product of which, (the unpainted version), we have staring back at us today.

Comparing Notes There's an uproar in the Scientific Community. It seems that proof of the Giza antiquity has been staring us in the face all along. Even more so, since the object in question has been buried in the sand for probably most of its life. The Head is not weathered by any means even close to the ammount of punishment Time and the Elements have inflicted upon the rest of the Statue. And the best explanation modern Egyptologists can come up with is, "there is no evidence to suggest that any of these so-called theories are valid." There is a saying among real intellectuals however, "methinks thou doth protest too much" !

Comparing Notes Quite the contrary to popular scientific opinion, the facts regarding Sphinx and the whole Giza complex are fast becoming known to the general public (much to the chagrin of the Egyptologists and other officials in charge). The evidence of wind erosion is slight, as would be expected of something that's been buried in the sand for most of its days ~ but signs of water erosion are very clear. Geologists estimate at least hundreds of years of "Deluge type Rainfall" are responsible for the shape and weathering of the stones that make up not only the sides of the Great Sphinx's body, but certain other monuments in the area that are of the same massive "minimalist architecture".

We know from other areas of Science, Anthropology, Climatology and Meteorology, that North Africa hasn't seen that Savannah / Wetlands type of climate for at least 8000 years. Which dates it's construction to "The Age of Leo" when the Constellation Leo, (the Lion), rose in the East (with the Sun) on the the first day of Spring, or the "Vernal Equinox." The Modern Era is the "Age of Pisces", and the Sun is in Leo in our modern late summer ~ but back then Leo was a Spring Sign. Certain Prophecies (many ancient, but most notably those of Edgar Cayce) say that the True Records of Humans on this Planet are to be discovered under the Sphinx (also in Mexico and the real Atlantis) near the end of the 20th Century, but won't be made public for many years. In all cases, through this new Knowledge, a "New Era" of Peace and Universal Understanding is supposed to emerge for Mankind. That'd be real nice.

The Sphinx Cover Up Last year I was introduced to an Egyptian political correspondent for London, and during our conversation I casually brought up the subject of the Sphinx opening and asked if there was any news. Oh Boy was there news ! Should the following information be true, then not only are Edgar Cayce's predictions correct, but the Egyptian government are involved in a massive cover-up. According to the journalist, the Egyptian government have ordered their press to keep their latest discoveries confidential. Their excuse for halting the archeological excavation is that they are renovating the monuments. Dr Joseph Schor, who has connections with the Cayce Foundation, is supposed to be heading the expedition, and I'm told they have made a number of amazing discoveries. Apparently the soil immediately inside the Sphinx is very soft, but just beyond it they found ancient records. Some have already been deciphered and tell the story of ATUM, the one who came from the skies, and of a civilisation from Atlantis, or Altea. Could theyhave found the information which may prove that the Atlanteans built the pyramids? My source says Yes! Edgar Cayce, the "Sleeping Prophet" is known for his prediction that the Hall of Records would bediscovered in 1997-1998. My source also tells of another discovery. As they began tunnelling to the left of the paw which leads outside the Sphinx, they came upon a chamber which housed the treasures of an Egyptian queen. Coins, gold and statues were found, including one of a female body with the head of a lion. I wonder, are they going to tell the world of these discoveries? The journalist seems to think they are afraid of what the records reveal, proving once and for all, that the Egyptians may not have been the true architects of these great monuments. Meanwhile, Richard Hoagland's 'Enterprise Mission" is still reporting on numerous "curious activities" inside the Great Pyramid. According to their report, a member of the Schor Expedition has approached them with information claiming that certain members of the Egyptian government are intent on NOT revealing exciting new discoveries which may include a "hidden excavation". Researcher Larry Hunter has provided the Enterprise Mission with photographic evidence, which includes a picture of a newly installed power cable, all of which could point to clandestine tunneling inside the monuments. Apparently Hunter left copies of the photographs with Mohammed Sherdy, an assistant editor of a daily newspaper, who promised a full investigation. The Hall of Records Under the Forepaws of the Sphinx, a hidden chamber was discovered, corresponding to the brighter stars in the constellation Hydra. This room is said to hold "The Records" of Human Civilization on this planet and before. A discovery that could shake up History, Religion and Mainstream Science at the very least. In front of NBC Television cameras, Millennia of History came full circle. Scientists present detected the unmistakable resonances of metal in the room. Man was not supposed to have forged until much, much later in his developement, but various Mavericks of Science have put the pieces together, and long suspected.

Upon this marvel discovery, the heads of Egyptology at the Cairo Museum took over, and the people who found evidence of its existence were immediatley evicted from the site and asked not politely to leave by the Egyptian government ~ their Visas revoked. Since then, extensive work has been done by the Egyptological Authorities on the subject. All parties involved continue to avoid the discussion and deny the discovery's importance, but they have begun work of their own in secret. SCOTLAND YARD RETURNS 40 OBJECTS TO EGYPT Forty pieces of Ancient Egyptian antiquities are to be handed over by Scotland Yard this week (10 Nov. '98) to the Egyptian embassy in London. These ancient remains, including 27 papyri, four stone portraits, small statues and amulets, were looted from the tomb of a noble man called Hetep-ka at Saqqara. The fate of more Egyptian objects still held by Scotland Yard will be decided in the near future. On the 10th of March 1995, five British art dealers and a serving police detective were arrested who were alleged to have conspired with Egyptian government officials to steal artefacts from tombs in Saqqara, the royal burial ground overlooking the ancient Egyptian capital of Memphis. The looted treasures included sculptures, sarcophagi which were broken up to make them easier to transport, as well as gold jewellery, amulets, papyri, and mummified remains. They were illegally brought to Britain by plane to be sold by art dealers to private collectors. In Cairo, 25 antiquities inspectors were also accused of assisting in the smuggling operation. Evidence of looting was first uncovered by Dr Jeffrey Spencer at the British Museum. He had been approached a few months earlier by an American auctioneer's valuer who asked him to verify the provenance of Egyptian pieces due to be sold at auction on behalf of a British client. It was easy for Dr Spence, who himself had been excavating in Memphite necropolis, to recognise the items from a catalogue at his office and knew that they came from a tomb in Saqqara. Spencer informed the art and antiquity squad at Scotland yard of his suspicions. When the officers launched their investigation they were able to uncover a network of art dealers who had been trading in stolen Egyptian antiquities. Only one of the six British accused of handling Egyptian antiquities was tried at Knightsbridge Crown Court received a prison sentence. ~ A Prehistoric Power Plant at Giza ~ We know that there were once Face-Stones of a very high quality that covered the Pyramids and protected them from the elements for centuries. Coincidentally, in Mexico, very similar ancient buildings also had their surfaces exquisitely tiled for protection ~ and the facing material there, Mylar, is very resistant to electricity and is extensively used in electronic circuits today as an insulator. It's not that much of a stretch of our modern immaginations to assume that the slight variations from sheer utter perfection were absorbed by the cosmetic faceod, long since pillaged ~ now scattered throughout the world ! That is to say ~ if these monuments stray from perfection slightly in some areas, how perfect were they several thousand years ago, before they were vandalized ?
