at least two Crashed UFOs, several assorted dead and/or dying Aliens,
witnesses threatened (mysteriously disappearing and never heard from again)
and all of it denied most fervently by the US Government ~ as a weather balloon.

A Legend is Born In the late 1940s the whole world was recovering from World War II, the USA and USSR were careening madly into the Cold War and much of the civilized world was immersed in the "UFO Fever" which sparked the Sci-Fi revolution in the B-movies and pulp comics of the 1950s. On July 4, 1947 the local paper reported that the town's military base had captured a downed Flying Saucer ~ a term that would soon be catapulted into worldwide status.

The next day, the Roswell Daily Record printed a retraction. The official statement from Air Force Authorities was that a rancher had discovered the remains of a weather ballon. More recent disclosures by the gallant, daring defenders of our skies have manifested in a book, timed to be released just a few weeks before last summer's Roswell 50th Anniversary Convention of UFO fans, believers and abductees (the press coverage of which was extremely tongue in cheek). The book outlines a "Top Secret" military weather balloon experiment, in which supposedly, plastic dummies were dropped from extreme heights. As it turns out though, through a little unofficial investigation, those projects took place in the late 50s, not in the summer of 1947.

This is obviously not what he saw in the desert the previous afternoon. His son still recalls with vivid memory the strange artifacts he beheld on his kitchen floor early one morning, (and the bizarre heiroglyphic style writing within one tiny piece in particular) ~ how they were definately metallic, but extremely lightweight. They could not be harmed in any way no matter how hard they tried. Some pieces was banged with a hammer endlessly, but just wouldn't dent, not even a scratch. Another piece was "paper thin" and crumpled easily, but it immediately assumed its original shape everytime. The artifacts came into their possession when the officer reluctantly went out to the crash site to investigate the report that the rancher made to the local sheriff, who called the Air Force Base at Roswell, thinking it must have been one of their planes that had gone down. There were no flights reported missing however, and no one at the base took the call very seriously ~ at first.

Why All the Fuss ? From the air, the crash site looked like someone had spilled popcorn on a clean rug ~ an easy eyesore for anyone flying within several miles. After word got back to higher powers within the military, and the subsequent "Spin Doctoring" was released to the press, special clean up crews were dispatched to the quiet little ranch. Hundreds of soldiers combed the area for debris and removed anything and everything not created by mother nature from the desert soil. Press people were denied entry into the site, but almost all of them reported to their editors one of the biggest peacetime military operations on native soil in recent years. Hangar 18 After all the pieces fell where they did, wreckage and other materials (including the dead alien bodies) are said to have been taken, via heavilly guarded trucks in a military convoy, to several different military bases in the general area (Texas, Nevada, California and others), except for what is now Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, where the mostly in tact spacecraft is rumored to have been kept in that base's Hangar 18 in hopes that its secrets could somehow be uncovered. Over the years that something was there, security lapsed enough for several credible witnesses to corroborate this story ~ and as more people came forward, still more felt comfortable enough to do so themselves. But many are still spooked enough to wait until they're practically on their "deathbed," and in those cases further investigation into the specifics of their stories is near impossible. All the bases in question are known to have massive underground facilities, and most flourished during the Cold War as major technology and development centers. But by far the most famous is Area 51 in the Nevada desert, just a few hours drive north of Las Vegas, where modern folklore has it that the strange lights of UFOs can be seen flying around at night, doing amazingly acrobatic maneuvers that no man made aircraft is capable of. Because of this, the mountains around the super secret base have become a very popular UFO Hunter / Skywatcher's and sightseer's tourist attraction during the 70s and 80s, until the US Government illegally procured all the land for dozens of miles in every direction. Unmarked white jeeps patrol the area and signs are posted warning that "Deadly Force is Authorized." The base does not appear on any map, but Soviet Spy Sattelite photos clearly show a major military installation in the mountains there.

An New Modern Legend UFOs typically frequent out of the way areas, sparsely populated and largely uncivilized (hence the "hick factor" in sighting reports). In the USA, the shores around the Gulf of Mexico and those waters all the way to Puerto Rico have a very paranormal reputation, not the least of which being the Bermuda Triangle. The entire American Southwest is a veritable hotbed of UFO sightings too, and now there's a doccumented, videotaped flap in a heavilly populated area. UFO investigators surmise that this was a "routine test flight" of a vehicle capable of operating completely undetected, even invisible, but that somehow its "cloak" became inoperative, exposing its sleek, almost alien, form to the millions of Phoenix residents just a few dozen meters or so below. On March 13, 1997 millions worldwide watched on CNN what thousands of people videotaped and were pointing at in the skies over the suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona. The US Air Force has responded in character, first with silence, then a "training mission" story (flares), then total silence again. But read here what eyewitnesses had to say about the nature of what they saw floating just 100 feet over their heads, as big as a football field, moving about 5 miles per hour, without a sound, blotting out the stars behind it, and the artificial lights without glare or glow.

Visit CNN's Website on the Phoenix Lights First Hand Witnesses Tim Ley and his family, who live in the Sunny Slope Mountains, near Phoenix described an immense, dark, V-shaped craft flying very slow and low overhead. The following are their words taken verbatim from the KSAZ local TV interview. Tim: "It was a giant V, alright ? ..... And the right side of the V went over us. The left side was like a couple blocks over." Bobbi: "We just didn't know what to do, you know ?  It was just like, `My God, how big is this thing ?`  It didn't seem threatening because when it was right overhead and we couldn't hear a sound, it was like you're just awestruck," Hear Hal's Description of the Phoenix UFO 21st Century Technology Their younger son said that it took approximately 15 minutes for the strange craft to go from where they first noticed it, to the point where they couldn't see it anymore. Their older son, Hal, said that it flew so low, he thought he could've hit it with a tennis ball. Hal: "It was very close. I just coulda nailed it." Tim: "The left side went right over my wife and I, and there was no light on the ground, but I could see up inside that it was almost like a recess and it had flourescent like light inside like a gas light of some kind." Hal: "And you could see right through the middle of it, but it was like looking through two way glass, like a through mirage that you see on the highway or something ~ or just when it's so hot. Right there though, you could see through, but there was no light comin' back or anything like that. It was just really wierd."

to many UFO enthusiasts worldwide, but he's not the only
resident of Gulf Breeze to see these amazing craft over the surf.

Tourists from Beyond The Florida panhandle is normally known for sun and surf. But in recent years, the latest attraction has been its growing population of UFOs. From perfect silver spheres to elaborate mini light shows, sightings have continued regularly throughout the 90s. The strange craft, which typically hover in place for a short time before instantly zooming off at speeds estimated to be thousands of miles per hour, have been witnessed by many people from all walks of life. Most are afraid to come forward with their story, but have sent in affidavits, photographs and videotapes corroborating the many other accounts as a real phenomenon.

Ed Walters saw something in the sky out his window one day. It looked like a UFO. He got his camcorder, got in his car and drove down to the beach near his house and tried to find it again. These pictures were taken between November '87 and January '88 and have been examined by experts and declared to not be hoaxes. Ralph Fuller was the first to videotape a UFO in Gulf Breeze and many others have in the years since. Florida is the state with the most UFO sightings at nearly 30% of all American sightings. hovering above one of the oldest cities on planet Earth.

Mass Public Sightings In Mexico City on July 11, 1991 during a Total Solar Eclipse the thousands of people gathered to watch stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to another part of the sunny Mexican afternoon sky. What they saw, and recorded on videotapes, was more than just an eclipse. Dozens of UFOs were witnessed by almost everybody in the area that day, hovering in the sky, inbetween the clouds, drifting in and out of formation, maneuvering and motionless, clustered, floating Flying Saucers. Videotaped by amateurs and professionals, they came back again and again, and they still do on a regular basis. But it's not going to make the American TV nightly news.

The craft are roundish (almost spherical), and typically hover in clusters of a dozen or more in the upper atmosphere, several miles above Mexico City. But single UFOs have also been sighted buzzing airports, achieving speeds greater than Mach 10 instantaneously, hovering silently, and even flying circles around commercial aircraft and airline jumbo jets. These sightings also mirror the "Cluster Flaps" sighted and photographed over Utah in 1965 and the News Reel famous 1953 sightings over Washington DC that caused much commotion with the Air Force one weekend. A Paranormal Revolution Jaime Maussan, the head anchor of 60 Minutos (the Mexican version of 60 Minutes), has enthusiastically adopted this controversial cause. It seems that in Mexico at least, the press doesn't treat UFOs with a smirk and a ten foot pole. He has also been at the forefront of a movement begun to train amateurs and professionals alike in the skill of videotaping any of the almost daily UFO sightings. Local universities are analyzing the miles of footage and there are definately multiple solid somethings up there, but for some reason they don't reflect all the light that hits them. There is an anomoly common to all the recordings, at the bottom of the crafts, that can't be accounted for. The orbs, while shiny silver everywhere else, are completely black underneath (all but zero light levels), and there are strange visual fluctuations there too. The distortions have been theorized attributable to the massive power output such vehicles would have to be generating. Also, the possibility that certain anti-gravity devices might absorb nearby visible light is being looked into. No one really knows what the effects of a gravity field might look like (officially, publicly), especially within the gravitational pull of a large mass, such as a planet. But some scientists are taking these sightings seriously, and applying advanced physics theories to the data. They haven't ruled out the anti gravity theory yet. The Inca predicted that the total eclipse preceeding the arrival of Cortez in the New Wold in the 1500s, would bring about a 500 year age of darkness, thus beginning, according to their calendars, The 5th Sun. Portents of a New Age Mexico City is built around the ancient Meso American city of Tiohuanaco, and is perhaps one of the oldest built up locations on Earth. The Pyramids here conform to astrological projections and line up with the planets of our Solar System, heading off into the mountains for the outer Gas Giants. They are also very similar architecturally and mathematically to the Giza Pyramids in Egypt, being based on the value of pi and thus a perfect circle. Many other interesting features have been found about the Mexican Pyramids, as well as other lesser known magnificent remnants of Earth's Ancient Civilizations.

Interplanetary Party Crashers In Moscow's Red Square, a famous singer (the Russian version of Madonna or Barbara Streisand) was in the middle of a live concert / public video shoot when the second famous Mass Sighting of the 20th Century took place. As she was performing on a balcony, singing out to the hundreds of people gathered there, she casually looked to the clear blue afternoon sky overhead, and had to stop singing. Everyone else in the square looked up as well, to see the shiny silver Flying Saucers that were floating there at several thousand feet. What they saw is still being talked about, but not on the regular news in the United States ~ that's all just tabloid stuff, right ? Maybe the UFOs were curious as to why such a large crowd had gathered in Red Square, years after the fall of Communism. This location was famous for the goose stepping parades of thousands of Soviet troops and heavy artillery displays during the Cold War. Propaganda films of these events had the Western Nations scared, despite the USSR's technological inferiority during that era. Or another explanation could be that these craft are actually military vehicles, kept Top Secret by the world's major Superpowers, in hopes that this new technology doesn't fall into the wrong hands, like Third World fascism or international terrorists. Maybe their "cloaking devices" malfunctioned, or even were manually shut off ~ to display to "those who know" in the world that Russia too has secured this amazing technology, even during the reconstruction of their vast nation. So they're still a power. UFOs are not laughed at in the former USSR. In fact, most paranormal subjects, though shunned in the west, are openly accepted by the majority of people, and even the state. Whatever works ~ however, the acceptance goes well beyond religious or superstitious beliefs. During the Cold War, the KGB had so far surpassed other world intelligence agencies in the area of psychic research, that even the CIA thought there must be something to it ~ who began certain Black Project programs of their own. Russia is one of the more "psychic friendly" nations on the planet, and is rich in lore going back beyond the Dark Ages. One of Russia's more famous figures, Rasputin, the noted seer and healer to the last Czar, predicted many things that have come to pass in his country.

A New Ally ? Thought at first to be a new Nazi arial threat, it was quickly realized that these mysterious glowing globes were on the Allies' side. Literally flying circles around German fighters over Europe, the craft would fire beams of light causing them to crash into the ground. The phenomenon was reported widely in the news reels of the day, and dubbed "Foo Fighters" from the French word for "fire." Similar reports came in from the Pacific, where Japanese planes were shot down by the mysterious craft. One wonders what the outcome of World War II might have been without their intervention. We probably wouldn't make the best interplanetary neighbors if the entire planet were ruled by one (or a few) Genocidal Dictators. Could aliens be behind the Allies' victory and ultimate defeat of Facism ?
The Good Neighbor Theory This type of UFO is all the rage with Crop Circle investigators, as craft similar to these have been seen flying over fields as the mysterious formations just simply appeared in the grain ~ the whole process taking only a few seconds. A video tape of the phenomenon is being analyzed. It has also been surmised that the symbols were not meant for us to read or interpret, but rather a form of communication between the Orbs' controllers (or perhaps the Orbs themselves) and another Alien Species who's interest in this planet and its people is less than friendly.
Imagine for a moment that there is more to the Universe than just three dimensions (length, width and depth) ~ and that there are higher levels of consciousness where we can be seen very easilly (very much like we can look at a TV screen or a piece of paper), but that realm is completely undetectable to us mere 3D creatures. As you read these words, imagine a culture existing totally within the two-dimensional surface you are looking at right now. If you were to touch it, they could still not detect you completely, but perhaps just the roundish imprint of your finger, and maybe that as a kind of light or spatial distortion. How would you communicate with them, and how would they with you ?

Hollow Moons, Pale Gods ! When Apollo rocket stages were jetisoned onto the lunar surface, several hour long "bongs" were reported by NASA astronauts. Considering that the planetoid's mass is significantly less than fits physics (and that it's even more of a spooky freak coincidence that we only ever see one side of it) presses even "credible" scientists to allow that our moon must indeed be at least partially hollow, and that this is not an odd occurance in nature. Further evidence includes the Martian moons Phobos and Diemos into the inceredible speculation, that because these are not natural satellites, that they all may indeed be space stations, carved out or even built especially for that purpose as UFO bases, or "Death Stars" ~ and they're probably portable too !

Giant perfectly round craters on the Moon and Mars appearing bottomless one day, silvery shiny and shallow the next ~ unusual immense parallel geometric features on celestial bodies within our Solar System, some made of glass ~ UFOs flying circles around, and deactivating nuclear weapons in flight, and appearing in formation over military bases ~ the inexplicable loss of Mars probes by both American and Russian space agencies, as well as UFO sightings, some televised live on CNN (hushed up) ~ and the amazingly accurate astronomical alignments of ancient structures worldwide, all point inevitably to the fact that we Earthlings are but mere pets, experiments, prisoners on this planet ~ and scared to admit it ! On the Lunar surface, there is only about 20% of the dust than there should be for its "established" age ~ and even though our moon has an extremely weak magnetic field, all of the moon rocks that NASA brought back to American taxpayers from outer space are extremely magnetized ~ and the iron ones just won't rust, like some equally anomolous monuments in India. Added to this is the amazing coincidence that UFO sightings and abduction waves, or "flaps", peak every 26 months when Mars is at opposition (the closest approach), and also significantly at the 13 month half way points. We've got a real phenomenon on our hands ~ one worthy of at least serious scientific investigation. But try to speak of this in public circles and you will be shouted down as a kook, or quietly shunned as a loon. The most voiciferous of these detractors (NASA, the US and other World Governments), definately know something is going on ~ and they don't want any of us to know about it !
