Having been interested in the paranorinal most of my life and experiencing some strange events. I have been involved with the study of ghosts the past few years. What really got me interested was reading Mrs. Dorothy Fiedels books on Haunted Lancaster County. Having said that she does not investigate but rather writes ghost stories, I wondered then if people write about ghosts who does the investigating. So I began the search for how to investigate haunted places. My search began on the Internet and I had come up with the International Ghost Hunters Society, they not only provide information they have over 500 pictures of what ghosts look like. I had joined their Society and saw they listed other clubs from around the world and noticed there was not any from Pennsylvania. So in April of 1997 1 founded the Pennsylvania Ghost Hunters Society.
I was not prepared for the response I was about to recieve. I have gotten over 20 e-mail the first week and have been contacted by authors and even television producers, Since then I still recieve e-mail from people wanting to join or just asking questions and now have over 70 members across the state. I have even formed my own investigating team with members from Lancaster and have investigated some sites in the area. I have managed to keep up with the response I get and I can say that it keeps me busy. I want to thank my members in Lancaster for their support and for the people who have lot us conduct our investigations we hope to have a good relationship with you and are here to answer any questions you may have about ghosts or hauntings.
