The Timeline

This is a work in progress. I am including all the dates that relate to the Egyptian, Mayan, Aztec, Atlantian, etc..... history. Maybe with this timeline, we can find a pattern. If you don't see a patern, well.... then... at least you have a timeline so you get a clearer picture of the events and times of our world history.

The dates given here can be disputed. Some of the dates can be inaccurate. Keep in mind that some of the dates are aproximate or based on scientist's theories and scientific dating techniques. If you see (**** more info), this means I have more information about the text, just not the time to put it in. Anything in (((parenthesis))) are just small notes that remind you or help explain the date or information given. An * in front of a date means that the date is aproximate. 2 Million years ago	"Man" has been found to have existed on Earth.
*9000 b.c.	Cataclysm destroys Atlantis (based on Plato's writings)
*1500 b.c.	Volcanic eruption destroys Thera and possibly brings an end to the Minoan civilization
360 b.c.	Plato writes Timaeus and Critias
0	Jesus is born
1882	Atlantis - The Antediluvian World by Ignatius Donnelly is released
1924	The Problem of Atlantis by Lewis Spence is released (don't ask... If forgot... I think this is a book)
1960	A. G. Galanopoulos discoveres the ruins of ancient cities on Thera
1968	The Bimini Wall is discovered (Edgar Cayce predicted the westernmost portion of Atlantis would be found in 1968 or 1969...)

*43,000 years ago -- An iron mine in Ngwenya, Swaziland has been found to have been in use at this time period acording to dating techniques.

* 20,000 to 25,000 yrs ago -- Cro-Magnon carved pictures found in caves at San Michel d'Aruby and Lamarche, France shows horses wearing some kind of bridle, This indicates that Cro-Magnon man had domesticated horses at this time.

*10,000 b.c. -- dating techniques have placed ancient cities and population centers at the 10,000 b.c. mark (Around the time period of Atlantis) These cities include: (**** more info)

October 22, 4004 b.c. at 8:00 pm -- This is the date of the world's creation as recorded by James Ussher, Archbishop of Armagh, Ireland. James Ussher was a 17th century churchman and thinker. He found this date by adding (**** more info)

October 23, 4004 b.c. at 9:00 am Greenwich Time -- Modified calculation (from the previous date given by James Ussher) by Dr. John Lightfoot, Vice-chancellor of Cambridge University. This new date is the date of the creation of Adam.

September 7, 3446 b.c. -- Also based on Biblical calculations, this date is given by Dr. Syffarth, a Leipzig theologian and he states that the date given is when the flood ended and the "alphabets" of the world were invented.

1665 -- Father Athanasius Kircher, a Jesuit priest, drew a fairly detailed map of Atlantis showing Atlantis as he thought it once was. (**** more info) (picture available)

1882 -- Book "Myths of the Antediluvian World is published by Ignatius Donnelly.
