Welcome to the GoldenEye 007 Homepage, an all-encompassing look at the Nintendo 64's most incredible game to date. GoldenEye is quite possibly the best videogame ever created, due to its mind-boggling graphical interface, incredibly life-like game play, and spacious sound and music. Awesome adventures for single play are only the beginning, however, because GoldenEye's multiplayer mode (for up to 4 players) is one of the best around.

GoldenEye 007 Story
Nine years ago, English Secret Service agents 007 and 006 penetrated a top secret chemical weapons facility in Arkangelsk, Russia, in the midst of the cold war. 006 was seeminly captured and murdered, but 007, James Bond, managed to escape. In present day, things are different in Russia, but a new crime syndicate has risen: the Janus Syndicate. Former Soviet officers, now working for Janus, have stolen the key to the GoldenEye satellite system, and apparently Janus is run by a brutal Lienz Cossack, whose parents were betrayed by the British. Who is this mysterious leader, whose need for revenge has gone on for years, and who now controls the deadly GoldenEye satellite orbiting above us? Take control of James Bond, track down Janus, and save England once again, this time from the destructive powers of GoldenEye!
Before each mission in GoldenEye 007, M will
provide you a briefing, which will give you some backround
information on the current assignment.
Following M's briefing, you'll
recieve info from the Q branch, giving you the facts concerning
any gadgets that you will need to complete your mission.
Q Watch V2.01 Beta:
Press start during any mission-based game to pause the game and
bring up your Q watch. This allows you to look at mission
objectives, weapons available, controller configurations, and
other game options. I normally use the default options,
with the exception of using toggled aim control, and the Cinema
screen setting on occasion.

Goldeneye 007 Weapons
WEAPON MAGAZINE / MAX DESCRIPTION
| PP7** * | 7 | 100 | Still one of my favorite weapons in the game, especially when silenced. |
| KF7 Soviet | 30 | 400 | Has more recoil and less accuracy than the AR33, but is easy to find. |
| DD44 Dostovei** | 8 | 800 | Very little recoil, but also very loud. A man-stopper when paired. |
| Sniper Rifle | 8 | 400 | The most effective long-distance gun. Use the C-pad to zoom in and out. |
| Grenades | 1 | 12 | These can be useful, if you're lucky enough to get them off fallen guards. |
| Remote Mine | 1 | 10 | Can be activated from anywhere in the level, no matter how many you've planted. Set them off by pressing A + B simultaneously. |
| Klobb** | 20 | 800 | Extremely noisy and hard to control. These are annoying to use, and especially annoying to get hit with, because of the recoil. |
| Timed Mine | 1 | 10 | You've got five seconds after you drop these guys, and bombs away. |
| Proximity Mine | 1 | 10 | When these detect movement, make sure you're far away from the blast. |
| Grenade Launcher | 6 | 12 | Hard to aim at first, but awesome when you've got a cheat that gives you two of them. Get one in the streets near Valentin or on the Surface. |
| D5K Deutsche** * | 30 | 800 | An elegant automatic; this one kills lots in little time. Very fun when silenced (Frigate). Pick up a pair in the Depot and rock 'n roll. |
| Phantom** | 50 | 800 | Similar to the Klobb (noisy/inaccurate), but with a much larger mag, Using these will only get you ambushed in the Frigate, however. |
| Auto Shotgun | 5 | 100 | Only found in Statue Park or the Caverns, but worth picking up. |
| Single Shotgun | 5 | 100 | I've only seen this weapon with the All Weapons cheat, but it's very cool. It's just as good as the auto version, and it makes an awesome noise! |
| Rocket Launcher | 1 | 3 | Huge blast radius, but a tiny magazine. Be careful, or you'll blow yourself up along with everyone else. |
| AR33 Assault Rifle** | 30 | 400 | In long and short-range, these bad-asses mow through enemies as quick and as efficiently as any weapon in the game. |
| RC-P90** | 80 | 800 | This handy gun spews out more bullets per second than any other automatic. When paired, they can be devastating. |
| ZMG (9mm)** | 32 | 800 | Can be very deadly (as in the Cradle). These boys pack a punch. |
| Laser** | -- | -- | Definitely an original and effective weapon, but not especially useful aside from the infinite ammo. |
| Silver PP7 | 7 | 793 | Only available through time cheats, this may be our favorite weapon in the game. Goes straight through enemies and usually kills w/ 2 shots. |
| Gold PP7 | 7 | 793 | Similar to its silver counterpart, except it kills enemies with a single shot. |
| Golden Gun | 1 | 100 | This mysterious gun found in the final stage kills with one shot, but its special ammo won't work with ordinary weapons. |
* comes silenced in certain levels
** can be paired in the normal game (no cheats)
