Manga
The Shoujo Kakumei Utena manga ran for five volumes and was published during 1998 by Flower Comics. The art was done by the ever-popular Chiho Saitoh,
and the original concept and story were by Be-Papas.
The manga runs in a slightly different way to the television series, and is generally a great deal more melodramatic.
More of the plot is explained in the manga than in the TV series, especially towards the end and during a number of entertaining side stories.
