Wrigley (CUMMING) decides to take his own life since his true love, his goldfish Diana, and he are seperated by, "millions of years of evolution and a half pint of water." Before Wrigley can complete his self-elimination, there are series of distractions and incidents which alter his view of reality, most notably his bizarre neighbor, Miss Gideon (WALTERS). Wrigley, with a new lease on life ironically suffers his ultimate nightmare.
