Pokemon Gold/Silver Info
Release Dates
Release dates from the Offical Pokemon site are Fall '00 and a magazine i got says japan is getting it this year, and a release date is soon for America.
Game Info and Pics
Pokemon Gold/Silver will have all your favorite pokemon and more. It will have pikablu(mairu) um houou(4th legenday bird) and all the other ones in the beyond 151 section of my site. It will also have all the pokemon you got with gameshark that didn't have pictures. For instance spooky will be in there(evolved gengar). As you can tell now they made some of your favorite pokemon evolve again! Also if your a girl and love pokemon you don't have to play as Ash anymore. IN the begining you can choose either boy or girl. Also your new Rival could be a girl! Spaking og male and female, pokemon will also be mal and female. Yes, this means pokesex. You can get two of the same species(maybe some even a different species, i have heard these from numerous sources) and they will breed and come out with a baby pokemon. Also all those nice peaceful time of sleep will be gone for you! The game will have a clock in it reading PM and AM. ONly certain Pokemon will come out at night. This coudl be bad or good. It wil give you a more variety of pokemon when your walking through the fields instead of fighting caterpie after caterpie. But I don't know if the clock's time can be changed, so wha if its really like your time. Woah. That could be tuff trying to get all 250. Now your saying "250 pokemon, YES!" because thats what i said. But i am a little disapointed. With all those brillant minds at Nintindo that could only come up with 100 more. Don't get me wrong, i am so grateful they made another one. But i want more! The game play in Gold/Silver is the same as in Red/Blue/Yellow. You can also transfeer your pokemon from red/blue/yellow to Gold/Silver, but not vice versa. This is okay and all, but you will not be able to use your favorite pokemon from Red/Blue/Yellow in Gold/Silver because there level will be to high. But i guess Nintindo did that for pokedex reasons. Well i am probably boring you so lets get some pics!

Okay people, i have some more info on Gold/Silver. I have been playing and i have found out that its very hard to understand. Hehe, not really, the Japanese version is what i am playing since no English version is out. Anyways, you know like when your fighting a battle on normal red/blue, and you need 20 exp to the next level and then 220 till the next level after that, you get 250 exp, red/blue would only take you up to that next level and not the level above it, it just discards the remaning. Not in Gold/Silver. It takes you up t that next level. Also its easy to tell how much further to the next level on Gold/Silver due to a bar underneith the hp bar when your fighting. Thats all that i really have accumulated through playing so far. I haven't gotten very far, but my friend Seadra17 has gotten farther and I plan on asking him to help me out on this. Well, i have gotten far enough to get the first of 8 badges. i can't tell you the name of the badge because its in japanese. Well, i couldm but i would have to ask my Science teacher, anyways, the first gym is three trainers(including the Gym leader) They all use birds(pidgey, spearow, pidgeotto, they use more birds, but thats the only birds you will see in the gym. The badge kinda looks like two wings connected. Its called the air badge. Okay its December 3rd, and i figured i have been playing pokemon silver no for a while and its so hard tofigure out its hard to post this.
