Some words from the owner |
|---|
There are many good work shops in this area, and labour being so cheep I take no credit for the project. The body work although quite rough contained very little rust. The interior was a complete mess. Though I was lucky the dash was good and even the original radio was working. The old slant Six was running good, but the gear box wouldn't select reverse. The chrome was in great condition from the beginning but no hub caps. At the body Shop. Back to bare metal, no heavy machines just lots of elbow grease. The boys did a great Paint job. The upholsterer did a unbelievable job, what a transformation. The engine only needed a good service but the gear box had to be completely overhauled. Got four good hub caps from a local junk shop. A bit more TLC. and she's running great. Mark Kilroy |

Update: 28th febuary 1999Some silly cow ran into my car today. She reversed into it, said she didn't see it. The cars 20 ft long for Christ sake. Only small damage to the drivers door, but you can imagine how I felt.
