Summer is fading

I FINALLY got to see the Mackinac Bridge. I went with my friend Cindy to do the 49th Annual Labor Day bridge walk. We went to Mackinaw Island, Castle Rock and a few other little sites around the area.

We used to go to Jason's grandparents for the 4th of July so the kids can play in the lake and see the fireworks. This year we went to a friends place south of us. We actually used the camper for 2 nights.
Jason built a new deck this spring so we enjoyed summer outside a little more like we did at the old house.

Now that I have a new digital camera, Jason should keep the site updated more.

All dressed up!!
These are Glamour Shots done for Jason a few years ago. I still work for RBC Ministries as a 2 color press operator. I don't want to work, I'd rather stay home with the kids, but it is just something that has to be done right now.
A little about me

I LOVE my kids, yes they get on my nerves once in a while, but the good times make up for the aggravating ones.

Like Jason, I like 20th Century history. Especially the 1st half. Mostly I am interested in WW2. One of my Grandfathers served in WW2 overseas.

Another interest of mine is my family tree. My aunt Renee has/is researching my mom's side of the family. I would like to start researching my Dad's side. I just have to get off my lazy duff and start.

I'm also interested in flying. One day I would like to get my private pilots license.
