Odds and ends
http://www.mountaindogs.org (Canine rescue web site) Something my           wife's involved in. She posts pictures of dogs on the web in           hopes      of getting them adopted out before they have to be put down. A      worthwhile endeavor that has resulted in several dogs being given good      homes.

http://www.bluelightcafe.com This site was put together by an acquaintance on a      group I correspond with. There are some nice things here also, but the      site is currently under construction. You can link to her OTHER page on      MSN from there or get into the chat. Haven't had a chance to look at it           much, but I trust her judgment and that of my friends in the group.

http://www.learn2.com A nifty little site where you can learn how to do just about      anything. I even learned how to tie a tie here (Hey, I hate ties OK?)           because I can never remember. In fact when I made Sergeant, one of the      other guys tied the tie for me. I got promoted, he didn't. Go figger!

http://www.africam.com Primarily a conservation site for Africa. Chock full of           pictures, webcams and information on the continent.

http://www.crocodilehunter.com This guy's crazy. His name's Steve Irwin and he is the curator of the Australia Zoo. His TV show, "The Crocodile Hunter", is on the "Animal Planet" cable channel, at least in my area in Southern California. Lots of entertainment and good educational value as well. And if you like watching some guy do the stuff you never would with wild animals, this is the place.
