A former ninja, Jubei now makes his living as a hero-for-hire.  Trapped into helping Dakuan, Jubei learns of the Eight devils of Kimone and their leader, a man named Gemma.  Having thought he had dispatched Gemma once before Jubei vows this time he will finish the job.  A skilled swordsman and reluctant hero, Jubei holds a kind of chivalry all but extinct in todays world.</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/jubei.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div> <U> <A NAME="kagero"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></U><U>Kagero</U> -  A dedicated ninja and poison tester, Kagero has never felt the love of another.  The poison runs so strong in her body a mere kiss would kill her lover.  Kagero too is pulled into Dakuan's plan to defeat the Eight Devils of Kimone.  After falling in love with Jubei she learns he is poisoned and will die soon.  "Fate is hardly kind"</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/kagero.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div> <U> <A NAME="dakuan"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></U><U>Dakuan</U> -  Working as a spy for the government Dakuan recruits Jubei and Kagero to aid him in his assignment.  Don't let his size or age throw you, he is very fast and even possesses an ability to change color to blend in to the background.  I find it strange he has powers like those only the Devils possess.  A devoted and shrewd old man, Dakuan will do whatever it takes to ensure victory.</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/dakuan.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div>  <A NAME="lord_gemma"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A><U>Lord Himuro Gemma</U> - A figure from Jubei's past, Gemma is a powerful adversary and possesses the ability to reconstruct and reincarnate himself.  The most powerful of the Devils and their commander, Gemma is hungry for power and plans to overthrow both Shoguns to become the true Dark Shogun of Japan.</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/gemma.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div> <U> <A NAME="shijima"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></U><U>Shijima</U> - Shijima possesses the ability to travel through shadows and to control the actions of others as if they were puppets.  He attacks from the shadows with a large claw, aptly named Shijima's Claw, which extends on a chain.  One of my favorites. </div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/shijima.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div>  <A NAME="benisato"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A><U>Benisato</U> - She is covered in tattoos of snakes which come to life to attack her enemies.  When cornered she can shed her skin like snake to escape.  Keep a watch out for her "most poisonous snake" though it hides in a very peculiar place.</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/benisato.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div> <U> <A NAME="mushizo"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></U><U>Mushizo</U> -  A disfigured little dwarf, Mushizo houses thousands of wasps in his back, which looks like a wasp's nest.  His disfigurement does not slow him down, however.  In a fight with Jubei he exercises his ability and his deadly hidden throat dart.</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/mushizo.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div> <U> <A NAME="tessai_"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></U><U>Tessai </U>-  With a body covered in rock and a menacing "boomerang" sword, Tessai is the toughest looking of the devils.  He boasts about how he cannot be hurt by weapons as his body is covered in rock, but your whole body can't be rock now can it?  He is the first devil to encounter Jubei when he is discovered assualting Kagero.</div> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <A HREF="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/engine/257/ninjascroll/tessai.jpg" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/e"><U>See DVD Screenshot</U></A></div> <bR> <div> <U> <A NAME="yurimaro"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></U><U>Yurimaro</U> -  The Chief Liuetenant of Lord Gemma, Yurimaru maintains a cool demeanor which he uses to hide his powerful Lightning streak attack.  It is hinted that he and Gemma are lovers.  This is my favorite Devil simply because he has an enormous power but he practices an almost arrogant manner, making him in my opinion 'the intelligent killer', someone who knows he can win but remains cool and confident without bragging or boasting his abilities.
