ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <bR> <div> The Story of Ninja Scroll takes place during the fuedal era in Japan.  Our hero is Jubei Kibagame, an ex-samurai.  He is currently a sword-for-hire, for a price he will help out those in need.</div> <bR> <div> The story starts with a small town in which all the people have died.  Some sort of epidemic has spread and the nearby Koga Ninja are dispatched to investigate the area.  On the way to the town the Koga team encounters some strange warriors in the woods.  After being easily defeated the leader of the Koga team faces off against the killer, who is covered in rock!  Out of the whole team only one ninja manages to escape death.  Her name is Kagero, a.k.a Ninja Girl.</div> <div> Dakuan, a government spy takes notice of Jubei's superior sword technique and sets out to enlist him to help him in his fight against the Eight Devils of Kimone.  Jubei however refuses to help the old man.  Desperate for assistance Dakuan poisons Jubei, promising the cure to him only after the fight is over.</div> <div> Kagero, the ninja is sent back out by her lord to investigate the men the Koga Team had encountered in the woods.  Dakuan slyly enlists her as well and the adventure begins.</div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clink?animenation+Vda5b5+index.html" TARGET="_top" TITLE="http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clink?ani"><U> <img src="HTMLobj-269/aniGif.gif" alt="Anime Nation" border="0" align="bottom" width="468" height="60">  </U></A></div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
