The Fox Lake, IL FD was called to the scene of a 04:00 house fire. The first
units to arrive found the house fully involved with the roof already collapsed.
Parts of the floor had also collapsed making it to dangerous to make an
interior attack. The Round Lake & Lake Villa FD responded with Tankers.

The Antioch, IL FD responded to a report of a barn fire. First in units found a
large storage barn that contained several trucks, tractors and a car with 2
buildings on each end that contained apartments and very heavy smoke being
blown around by gusty winds. As you can see in the above photos, Firefighters
had to put up with heavy blowing smoke that produced zero visibility through
out the fire scene. A box alarm was quickly pulled which had units responding
from Round Lake with a Tower & Chief, Fox Lake with a Tanker & Squad,
Gurnee with an Engine, Zion with a Truck, Wilmont (WI) with a manpower
Squad, Newport with a Chief & Tanker, Twin Lakes (WI) with an Engine and
also departments with Tankers from Lake Villa, Grayslake and Trevor (WI).

The Fox Lake, IL FD responded to a snowmobile accident on the frozen Fox
Lake. Firefighters used a newly purchased "Quad 2" Airboat to quickly rescue
and get the seriously injured person to the shore and loaded into a waiting
Ambulance.
