The Round Lake, IL Fire Dept responded to this house fire that was called in by
a Round Lake Firefighter that lived close by. Round Lake & Fox Lake Firefighters arrived to find "heavy" fire blowing out of every window in the house with exposures on fire on both sides of the burning house. This area of the county does not have fire hydrants and Round Lake and Fox Lake firefighters worked quickly to set up a Tanker shuttle. Firefighters had there hands full with the amount of fire blowing on the exposures. The houses were saved by the fast attack of the Round Lake & Fox Lake Fire Departments. Round Lake was also assisted with Tankers from Lake Villa & Antioch. |
