The Fox Lake Fire Department works to rescue a man that fell into a gravel pit
used for making concrete. When crews arrived he was buried up to his head
with sand. Rescue crews cut a hole in the bottom of the funnel and with
Firefighters inside were able to dig him out and hand him outside through the
hole. He was transported by a REACT Helicopter. Several area Departments
sent "Below Ground/Confined Space" rescue personel to the scene. The
Antioch Fire Department set up a Landing Zone.

The Fox Lake Fire Dept work to extricated the victim of a car vs. truck
accident. The Lake Villa Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.

Flight For Life (Milwaukee) lift's off with a patient that fell and suffered a
severe head injury. Flight was called by the Fox Lake Fire Dept.

Fox Lake Firefighters work to extricate a women trapped in her mini-van after
it flipped over onto its side. The temperature was -2 with a wind chill of -40.
