THANKS for the suggestion on the Blower housing bolts. Will check them.
Also, someone said it might be an exhaust gasket leak - the lottle copper rings that go inside the holes for the "spigots" in the manifold pipes. OR, perhaps re-torque the heads???

All new to me. I thought I understood the VW and Porsche upright engine quirks, but, the typr IV is a new one for me.
