VII

It's winter time.. Brrr. Rolled trike outside to paint
Tank, fenders and rims.
I decided on black for the trike, in fact every bike I
owned was black...
Have to get rid of those ugly tires.. Motor cover temporarily put in place. Note the
rolled groves..
Used rubber strips on the brackets that hold the
seat and the back panel to keep vibration down.
Back view, I decided on these rear lights. They
fit flush and are good for light, signal and brake light.
Front view.. I decided on double head lights, used
round spot lights and modified them to fit a 4"
driving light (high/low).
Side view, just about 12 ' long.. Note the extended
foot pedals on the picture below.

There you have it, done exept the upholstery and the
mounting of a street tire in the front.

The Trike is done...for now...     I spent approx. $2000, it took me one year from planning to finish to complete it. I only had time on weekends to work on it, that makes it about 76 day's (sometimes I had to take a day off from building..) . Out of those I spend on the average 5 hours each day. That makes it 380 hours. I did everything myself excluding the welding on the frame and rims. It was fun and I am proud of what I accomplished. And now it's time to have some fun!!
Keep the rubber down and the shiny side up, Thanks for the interest on my trike project!
