We're having a Third Generation F-Body Gathering on Long Island @ Pryibil Beach (Glen Cove, Nassau County) on JUNE 24-25, 2000. We're looking to have a 2-day gathering, where Saturday you can go to the track for some time trials. This will be held at the Long Island Dragway, in West Hampton. The track is at sea level. After that, we will meet at a popular cruise spot which has a HUGE turnout. We will have to get there early for good group photos and parking. The show is Sunday. Free admission and there will be concessions/restrooms available. Feel free to bring beach gear. | |||||||||||||||||||

We have a group rate set up with: "THE TIDES - Motor Inn on the Sound" Bayville Road @ Bayville Beach Locust Valley, NY 11560 Phone:(516) 671 7070 Fax:(516) 671 7076 It has cable, air conditioning, kitchens available, pool, playground (for you big boys), tennis courts, beautiful beach, fishing, boating and jetski's nearby. (There is also mini-golf and an arcade for you kiddies...hehehe) In season rates (what you guys pay): A) Single (1 double bed) ($82-$5 group discount) = $77 B) Poolside (1 queen) ($93-$5 group discount) = $88 C) Double (2 double beds) ($115-$5 group discount) = $110 D) $137 kitchenette **Cots for additional person: $10 in doubles (& poolsides I think) only. So you can have 3-4 persons in a room. A double with 2 cots would hold 4 people for $135, or ONLY $35 per person!!! Make reservations A.S.A.P. because that time of year generally tends to fill up quickly. Also, parking is good at this hotel...no need to worry about dings/scratches!! To get to L.I. Dragway... Either: LIE to exit 70 South on Eastport/Manorville Rd. to Old Contry Road, left for 3 miles. OR Sunrise Highway to exit 61, bear right to second 4 lane divided highway. Make right on Eastport/Manorville Rd. to Old Country Rd, left for 3 miles. For more Info... LI Dragway Old Country Rd, Westhampton, NY (516) 288-1555 or 678-5336 To get to the SHOW on SUNDAY: From the Long Island Expressway (Rt 495): Take the L.I.E Exit 39N (Glen Cove Road) - follow to the end (you'll see a Fire House). Make a right at the Fire House onto "Brewster Street" and get into your left lane. Follow Brewster Street for 4 traffic lights (5/10ths of a mile) where you'll make a left onto "Dosoris Lane". Follow Dosoris Lane for .3 miles, until the stop sign at the end. Make a right onto "Lattingtown Road". Continue on Lattingtown Road 7/10ths of a mile to "East Beach Drive" (sign is on a tree). Make a left onto East Beach Drive, and follow it to the end...(bear to left at end, and stop for attendent at gate) From The Tides Motel: Make a left out of the parking lot onto "Bayville Road". Stay in the right lane. At the 4th traffic light (2.2 miles) make a right onto "Lattingtown Road". Continue on Lattingtown Road 1.2 miles to "East Beach Drive", where you'll make a right turn. (there is a sign on a tree for East Beach Drive...watch those 1.2 miles here or you'll miss it the 1st time).
