Fredi Walker
Fredi Walker made her Braodway debut in RENT. Prior to RENT, Fredi directed the Audelco Award- winning play When Chickens Come Home To Roost. Her acting credits include Once On This Island, Cinderella, Little Shop Of Horrors, Ain't Misbehavin', They're Playing Our Song, Nunsense II, God Is A Guess What, Esther, A Vaudeville Meghillah, and The Buddy Holly Story. On television, she has appeared in New York Undercover, The Upper Room, and Night of Swords.

Walker: Jonathan reminds me that in spite
of the hardships of the business, underneath was a man who gave his life
for what is one of the best spiritual messages available in the form of
entertainment. The spiritual message of RENT is all about love, accepting
the imperfections of others, being human. That's what RENT is all about,
and it's what we in the cast have allowed ourselves to do with each other.
