Adam Pascal
Adam Pascal made his debut theatrical performance
in RENT, for which he recieved the 1996 Theatre World Award for Best Actor
in a Musical, as well as nominations for the 1996 Tony and Drama Desk awards.
Prior to joining the cast of RENT, he played guitar
with the
group Mute. Since that time, he's become an overnight sensation.
This "Smiley blonde kid" has become a nationwide sex symbol, as well
as boosted the popularity of his new band to epic proportions. He's
moved to London to perform RENT there, and we all of course hope to see him
back on the stage in the US soon.
Adam Pascal: Jonathan had told me that Roger was kind of Kurt Cobain, kind of Eddie Vedder. And I thought, "Well, those are the two guys everyone is going to pick." But in Jonathan's defense, he was a theatre guy. He got the message across. When he said those names, I knew the way I sing would work. He was looking for passion. |
