Islamic Jihad

The idea came to me one day when I remembered that "Cat" Stevens converted to Islam. Hey, we used to have a character named Sirocco and he would be perfect in a Middle East game. This is a mix of hardcore fanatics and a leader who is progressive. Two factions have formed, Al Akba, Intifata and Koran are the hardcore members. They feel their reason to exist is dictated by the teachings of Mohammed and fatwa or holywar. The others, Sirocco, Shifting Sands and Desert Flower believe the word of God and Mohammed are better conveyed through tempering the message. One thing all six agree is that the Middle East has long been ruled by outsiders, Europeans and Americans, and is far past the time for Arabs to again rule themselves. They are not above terrorist tactics as long as it is against foreigners.
