Al Aqsa
Al Aqsa is the mosque at the temple mount in Jerusalem.  Inside the mosque it is believed to show the peak of the mountain and the place where Mohammed stepped to heaven.  Al Aqsa is the self-proclaimed protector of all Moslem holy sites.  His body is covered with Arabic script that look like tattoos.  When he uses a power the script glows and changes colors.  Anyone who can read the writings in the Koran can easily read all Al Akba's powers.  Al Aqsa is extremely confident in his powers and is completely intolerant of those who do not accept a monotheist god.  (It doesn't matter if they are Christians, Jews, etc. just so they are not Pagans or believers of religious Pantheons.)

Al Aqsa got his powers after fasting for Ramadan.  He spent the last day of the fast praying for guidance and when he awoke the next day, writings appeared on his body.  He learned how to master the writings and new writings appeared with new powers.  Koran and Intifata have asked him many times to join them in a new group but he has refused, believing that a larger, stronger group will advance their goals of ridding the Arab world of non-believers quicker.
