Palomar's mental abilities made him a keen asset to Asawa team but the Team Leader felt he needed the ability to protect himself better. Palomar started training with a special pistol created for him and he was a natural marksman. Using his invisibility and mindscan to discover his opponents' weaknesses, Palomar is usually only seen by his enemy for the brief instant before they are rendered unconscious

Palomar is ultra patriotic, exceptionally overconfident (even for Asawa Team) and never saw a fight that he did not want to join in.
