Crosswire is the son of Luke Cage, Powerman. He is a natural mutant whose abilities enable him to channel kinetic energy to make himself stronger or faster. Living his entire life in poverty, he has a deep distrust of the government, whites and conservatives. He trusts Reverend Farrakhan to help improve the lives of his followers and Crosswire knows he is instrumental in reducing crime and teaching proper values to the children under his care.
