 Earthguard Campaign
The Earthguard campaign is our original games starting in 1982 or 1983. An actual superhero team did not materialize until after several months of playing the game. Game write-ups did not start until issue 94 and the previous write-up were recreated from encounter notes on our character sheets. While playing, we used these write-up extensively to keep track of the different plot-lines since we had five or more different people running games for the same heros.
The concept behind the game and "issue" is to summarize each game or series of games into a comic book plotline. Assume you have read the latest issue of Daredevil or JLA. Following would be a list of heroes, opponents, side characters of importance and an overview of the events. Since none of us were great story tellers (except maybe Matt) this is what we came up with.
The write-ups take several pages but I know you will find them worthwhile to read.
