The original Archangle went rogue when he realized the incredable power contained by the suit. It took the combined power of all the other Red Star members to defeat him and peal him out of the armor. The current wearer is a TOTAL pro-communist fanatic and has been pre-programmed to never go loose cannot.
The armor is originally a Kree design and is part of a land trade to let the Kree set up a stronghold base within Russia in exchange for the armor. The armor isn't exactly organic, but it is of such a high degree of nanotech that it will bond to the wearer. This bonding gives Archangle some mental traits similar to Kree as the armor at times will "take over".
Archangel is 6'4", weighs 270 pounds and the armor is green-blue, depending upon the lighting. He is overconfident (and who wouldn't be in this suit) but he rarely talks to others outside of the team. He shows no compunction to killing innocents or heroes but will not go out of his way to kill an opponent who has been defeated.
