 Cobolt
Cobolt is the final results of Soviet science and nuclear energy. He lives in a containment suit similar to Wildfire of the Legion of Super Heroes. He stands 6'2", weighs 220 pounds. His suit is colored cobalt blue and trimmed in dark blue. A large atom symbol in blue on silver is on his chest. His mask is silver-blue reflective glass.
Cobolt and Imperial Defender were the first members of Red Star. They are best friends and were drafted initially as a duo, out of the ranks of the Red Army, to form a KGB sponsored superteam. Cobolt is INTENSELY loyal to Red Star, but especially to Imperial Defender.
His attacks are all atomic powered and he will quickly recover his energies whenever he is near any type of nuclear (or atomic) powered items (power plants, submarines, whatever). It is said that if he is near large nuclear devices, he not only recovers faster but can harnes that energy in with his other abilities to make them more effective. He will rarely use the Transformation attack against anything living.
