Our next visit to the northern rim of the Grand Canyon will include plenty of rope. At 115 degrees by day and 35 degrees by night, it takes a full pack of clothes and plenty of water. Sublime Point is 17 miles from the nearest highway and a descent into the canyon will add two more days to the hike. | |||||||||||||||||
