Bread Machine Chocolate Bunny Bread

2/3 cup milk (70 to 80°F)
1 egg
2 TBS butter or margarine, cut up
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups Five Roses All Purpose Flour (this recipe is taken from a Five Roses advertisement - use whichever flour you would use for bread)
1/3 cup sugar
3 TBS cocoa powder
1 TBS Fleischmann's Bread Machine Yeast
1/4 cup milk chocolate or peanut butter chips

1. Add all ingredients except chocolate chips to bread machine pan.
2. Process on dough cycle.
3. When complete, remove dough to floured surface.
4. Divide dough in half.

Body

1. Knead chocolate chips into one piece of the dough.
2. Form into ball.
3. Place on greased baking sheet.
4. Flatten to 5" round.

Head

1. Form 1/3 of remaining dough into ball.
2. Flatten slightly.
3. Attach to body by pinching together.

Nose

1. Pinch of 1/2" ball from remaining dough.
2. Place on head.
3. Divide remaining dough into 6 pieces.

Arms

1. Roll 2 pieces into balls.
2. Attach to each side of the body.

Feet

1. Shape 2 pieces into 2" ropes.

Ears

1. Shape remaining 2 pieces into 4" ropes.
2. Arrange above head, tucking ends under head.

To Finish Bunny

1. Cover.
2. Let rise in warm place.
3. Bake in a 350°F oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until done, tenting with foil
    after 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning.
4. Remove from pan.
5. Cool on wire rack.
6. Decorate as desired.

To Make Bunny by Hand

1. Substitute 1 envelope (1 TBS) Fleischmann's Quick Rise Instant Yeast  for the
    Bread Machine Yeast in the recipe.
2. Reserve 1 cup flour.
3. Mix 1 1/4 cups  flour, sugar, cocoa powder, yeast and salt in large bowl.
4. Heat milk and butter until very warm (125 to 130°F).
5. Stir into dry ingredients.
6. Beat in egg  and vanilla.
7. Mix in enough reserved flour to make a soft dough that does not stick  to bowl.
8. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8  minutes.
9. Cover
10.Let rest 10 minutes
11.Shape and bake as indicated above.
