Chocolate Silk Pie for Easter

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 OZ unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 pie shell (9 inch)
1/2 pint whipping cream

1. Thoroughly cream butter and sugar.
2. Blend in melted chocolate and vanilla.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition on  medium speed.
4. Pour into cool pie shell.
5. Chill for 2 hours.
6. Top with whipped cream.
