Easter Bunny Cupcakes

1 1/2 cup flour; sifted
1 cup sugar; granulated
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter; softened
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

 EASY PINK FROSTING:
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 egg white
1 tsp lemon juice
few drops red food coloring

  EASTER BUNNIES:
smarties
licorice
pink marshmallows

1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, blend together the butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
3. Mix well.
4. Spoon batter in 16 greased muffin cups.
5. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted  in center comes out
    clean.
6. Transfer to rack and cool.

EASY PINK FROSTING:

1. In saucepan over high heat, heat corn syrup until boiling.
2. In bowl, beat egg white with lemon juice until mixture is frothy.
3. Gradually blend in corn syrup and beat until stiff peaks form.
4. Dip tops of cooled cupcakes in frosting.
5. Use Smarties for the bunny's eyes
6. Cut up licorice for the whiskers
7. Cut up pink marshmallows for the bunny ears.
