Spring Layer Cake
This is so pretty when sliced and shows the three pretty colors of spring.  Be creative and use what ever colors suit you!

1 box white cake mix, prepared as directed on the box
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam, divided
1 bag (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate morsels, melted

1.   Heat oven to F. 350
2.   Add extract to prepared cake mix batter.
3.   Divide batter into 3 portions.
4.   Mix 2 drops red food coloring into one portion.
5.   Mix 3 drops yellow into the second portion.
6.   Mix 2 drops red and 4 drops yellow into the third portion.
7.   Spread each portion into one of 3 8" X 4" loaf pans lined with foil and
      greased.
8.   Bake 22 to 24 minutes.
9.   Cool.
10.Remove from pans.
11.Arrange yellow layer on a serving platter.
12.Spread half of jam over yellow layer.
13.Spread other half of jam over orange layer.
14.Arrange on top of yellow layer.
15.Arrange red layer on top of yellow layer.
16.Pour melted chocolate over cake.
17.Chill.
