Bite Size Taco Turnovers

        1/2 lb. ground beef
       1/4 C. taco sauce
       2 tsp. chili powder
       1/4 tsp. onion powder
       1/4 tsp. garlic powder
       1 10-ounce pkg. refrigerated pizza dough
       1/4 C. shredded American or cheddar cheese
       1 egg
       1 tsp. water

1. Cook ground beef in a small skillet until brown.
2. Drain off fat.
3. Stir in taco sauce, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder.
4. Set aside.
5. Unroll pizza dough.
6. Roll dough into a 14x10x1/2x" rectangle.
7. Cut into twelve 3-1/2" squares.
8. Divide filling among dough squares.
9. Sprinkle with cheese.
10.Brush edges with water.
11.Lift one corner of each square.
12.Stretch dough to the opposite corner, making a triangle.
13.Press edges well with a fork.
14.Seal.
15.Arrange on a greased baking sheet.
16.Prick with fork.
17.Combine egg and the 1 tsp. water.
18.Brush onto turnovers.
19.Bake in a 425º oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden.
20.Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Makes 12 appetizers.
