Gourmet Pork Chops

4-8 center cup pork chops
1/4 c butter
salt
pepper
garlic powder
2c sliced fresh mushrooms
1 envelope lipton onion soup mix
1 c dry white wine
1 c chicken broth
2 tsp bottles garlic spread
1 c sour cream

1. Brown pork chops in butter.
2. Season with spices and remove from skillet.
3. Add mushrooms and saute.
4. Mix in remaining ingredients except sour cream; stir until well blended.
5. Return pork chops to skillet.
6. Cover and simmer one hour.
7. Add sour cream and heat through; do not boil.
8. Serve immediately.
