How to Reach Our Meetings
From I-66 (Driving east or west)
Take Exit 55B onto Fairfax County Parkway (route 7100) North.
Turn right onto Fair Lakes Parkway (east). Turn right at light onto
Monument Drive. Turn right onto Government Center Parkway. The
Government Center is on your left.
From Route 50 (Driving east or west)
Take the exit for West Ox Road (Route 608) South. Turn left at
light onto Monument Drive (east). Turn right onto Government Center
Parkway. The Government Center is to your left.
From Route 29 (Driving west from Fairfax City)
Turn right onto Forum Drive. Turn left onto Government Center
Parkway. The Government Center is on your right. (Driving east from
Centreville) Turn left onto Forum Drive. Turn left onto Government Center
Parkway. The Government Center is on your right.
From Fairfax County Parkway (Rt. 7100) (Driving north from Springfield)
Turn right at light onto Fair Lakes Parkway. Turn right at light onto
Monument Drive. Turn right onto Government Center Parkway. The
Government Center is on your left.

Exit at Route 29 northbound. Turn left onto Forum Drive. Turn left
onto Government Center Parkway. The Government Center is on your
right. (Driving south from Herndon) Turn left at light onto Fair Lakes
Parkway (east). Turn right at light onto Monument Drive. Turn right onto
Government Center Parkway. The Government Center is on your left.
By Public Transport (On your own)
Take the Orange Line metro to Vienna. At Vienna Metro, take the
Fairfax County Connector Bus 621 or 623. The 623 bus leaves the
Fairfax/Vienna Metrorail station (Southside) at 6:34 PM and arrives at
Ffx Co. Govt Center at 6:54 PM. If you miss that bus, the Fairfax
connector bus 621 leaves Ffx/Vienna (southside) at 7:06 and arrives at
the Government Center at 7:31 PM.
By Public Transport with Carpool Arrangements
Amy,Jeffrey and
Wallace have been
known and are often happy to provide transport to weary commuters
when available. Please contact the respective driver beforehand
if you plan on availing youself of his or her generosity. Amy usually
leaves from West Falls Church metro station at 6:15 PM. Wallace usually
leaves Vienna Metro around 6:30 PM. Jeffrey can hit either West Falls
Church or Vienna around 5:00 PM to 5:15 PM and also acts as trasport
for the NoVaDWVS pre-meeting dinner for anyone needing a lift. Jeffrey is
also the emergency contact so if you find yourself stranded for any
reason, please do not hesitate to call him on his cell phone. The number
is listed in the club contact list.
How to Reach the
Before-Meeting Resturants
Each evening before the main event, a few of the NoVaDWVS
members like to get together to catch a bit of supper before the show.
We have choosen Fuddruckers resturant as our establishment of
convenience and choice. Fuddruckers is located at 3575 Chain Bridge
Road, Fairfax, VA; at the north-east corner of Chain Bridge Road
(Route 123) and Main St. (US 29).
Coming from the North and South West
Take I495 to I66 West. From I66, get off at exit 62, Chain Bridge
Rd. south. At the intersection of Chain Bridge Rd. and US 29, take a
left and then another immediate left into the car dealership. Drive around
and behind the car dealership to get to Fudruckers.
Coming from the North West
Take either the Dulles Toll Road or Sunrise Valley Rd. until it
becomes Hunter Mill Rd. south. Follow Hunter Mill Rd. for a couple of
miles until you reach Lawyers Rd. Take a left onto Lawyers Rd. and
follow it until you come to Chain Bridge Rd. in Vienna. Take a right onto
Chain Bridge Rd. and follow it for aproximately 2 miles until you reach
the intersect of US 29. Take a left onto US29 and follow the directions
above for getting to the resturant.
Coming from US 29
Simply follow US 29 until it intersects Chain Bridge Rd. (Route
123) and turn into the car dealership as described above.

From the Resturant to the Government Centre
Getting from the resturant to the government centre is easy. As we
all leave as a group you can simply follow the regulars to the meeting or
if you get lost simply take US 29 South/West for about 2 miles until you
reach Monument Dr. Take a right onto Monument Dr. and then a left at the
second light onto Government Centre Parkway. If you took the first
light by accident this is also Government Centre Parkway because it loops
around. If you come from the reverse direction, the Government Centre will
eventually be on your right, otherwise it should be on your immediate left.
